I’ve been 5 days clean due same reason, I wouldn’t want to eat without smoking or start my day, if I didn’t smoke in 24 hours I would get horrible anxiety attack, nauseas shivers and I would feel dead, the first day was hard, also the second, I tried weed due really hard times and emotional stuff coming on, the first weeks weed would help me a lot, I’m a music producer so I was able to make tons of beats, now it flipped over and I just quit weed for some day to get my tolerance low again, I’ll smoke micro doses(not everyday, maybe 2 times per week) , I’ll first do my stuff and at the end of the day just relax with a small amount of weed, this plant is amazing and has lots of benefits when u use it correctly, we all abused the weed and thought we would get away, this plant it’s just to enjoy, not made for the daily basis.

When you have anxiety attacks then why you dont smoke tobacco instead yeah its bad but it calms you down and stops anxiety for a bit. Smoking cigs is bad and the psychological withdrawals are hard but not the physical and i mean its better to be a smoker than a stoner

i am the same way currently, i don't feel hungry almost throughout the whole day unless i'm smoking and it's odd bc i'm a big guy and used to eat a lot. i will say tho it's def a great way to lose weight lol. i'm on/off weed a lot so i still eat but not as much and i think when i'm off it it kinda forces me into a calorie deficit, lost around 40 lbs in a cpl months and i believe this is the reason.

for everyone that's struggling with stopping smoking i have a solution you can try. i thought id never be able to stop or even stop smoking as much, but what i did was start smoking later and later in the day as time passes. so lets say if you always smoke from the moment you wake up, try waiting an hour before you smoke for a couple weeks. then push it to 2 hours for a couple weeks and keep going until it reaches night when you have your first smoke. it really helped me☺️

Underrated comment; I follow a weedtuber that recommends this for fixing tolerance. I also believe that's helpful for quitting altogether. Itwon't be so miserable since your body still gets some of what it's used to having to function; and you start to learn other ways of coping when you have to wait to smoke.

Sounds like a pretty solid idea, easier than the way I did. I completely stopped smoking and just took 1/2 an edible a hour before bedtime to help me through the rough sleep. I think I’ll do this for a week or 2 switch to CBD edible for a week and then drop it all.

I like how you said “consider taking a break” because addiction can be hard if you get in over your head and don’t take baby steps. Once they take a break, they’ll see the benefits of quitting and would want to quit completely, because that’s how I was. Really well done.

It feels good seeing other people in the comments going through the same problems as myself. The youtube algorithm never gave me this, till the last moment of me giving up on everything.
I know I have trauma and depression I've been needing to deal with, and every time I think about it, I get overwhelmed and resort to smoking as an instinct to make myself feel like everything's good and okay.
I've stunted my self growth and the relationships with people around me, including my significant other. I'm at the the edge of almost losing my relationship because of my anger and outbursts, because when I get into arguments while high, it's easier for my to dismiss, get angry at the things around me.
For everyone going through the same struggle, I hope you make it.

I felt that weed was curing depression and saving me from sad day, but its actually not, its just a quick getaway from reality and you will have distorted reality until its too late to fix it. @@jaggarowen-nh7lk Hello my friend. I'm currently 10 months into being completely weed free. I've learned so much about myself than I ever thought possible in the process, and it was absolutely worth the struggle of quitting.
For context, I started smoking everyday at like 19 years old and quit at 31. I often look back at my 20s with regret: don't get me wrong, it was amazing for the first few years, smoking with friends and family, connecting with myself creatively through music, and everything else about it. But overtime, the weed use becomes something sad, something far removed from the beautiful memories from when we started smoking. The last 5-6 years of me smoking was mostly just trying to recreate old times, or avoid discomfort in my life. I wish for a better outcome for you in this regard, as you're still quite young my friend.
I will say, if you have ever had the thought of "I think maybe I should take a break/quit, I really have no idea what life would be like without it", or if you're unsure about who you would be on the other side, then you and I are very similar, and I would 100% encourage you to try a break/quitting. That "unknown" that exists on the other end of weed dependence is where the good stuff is, I promise; where you'll really get to know your most authentic self, and gain a deep and very genuine appreciation for being alive. It's a bit scary at first, even painful at first, but you'll thank yourself for facing it in your 20s, rather than having to deal with it in your 30s

Now that I’m older, I appreciate how it helps with PTSD symptoms and helps me gain appetite and sleep through the night.
Plus, I’m the type to know when it’s time to relax, and when it’s time to get off my butt and put in work. I reserve my smoking time to for relaxing, so it feels like I deserved it.

A few people have even died from it due to severe dehydration. If this happens to you, the only cure is stay away from weed. Trust the process, it’ll SUCK for 3-4 weeks, then you’ll feel good. Weed started making me anxious. I hated the feeling. And yes, smoking felt like a chore. Always have to roll up and smoke just to eat some food. It just felt stupid as hell. I was spending large amounts of money just to feel anxious and start overthinking. I started to hate the feeling, even though I had been smoking for 9 years at that point. I’ve been clean for about 3-4 months and it’s awesome. Sometimes I still think I smoke weed since it was my daily routine but then I realize, I do t and it feels good! I feel the exact same that I used to feel while smoking weed except I have a bigger appetite, I feel more In control of myself and thoughts and WAY less anxiety. I thought the weed would end up make me crazy and cause me to have mental issues so I just had to stop.
I literally feel no different, I feel better. Some people just don’t need to smoke weed. I thought I needed to but I actually didn’t. I’m a naturally positive and happy person 😊 When I first started smoking weed, it did get me through some tough times, but I’m an adult now and I don’t need to rely on a plant to cure my depression or anxiety. I need to rely on myself and my subconscious. I need to be in control of how I feel/think and not leave it to a plant. It was just getting super ridiculous. I eat way more now! Food still tastes the same 😄 Gosh. I really am proud of myself. I feel I conquered something that was holding me back. I smoked weed longer than I should have because I didn’t want to lose my relationship with my stoner boyfriend lol, but everything between us is still the same even though I stopped. He gets to smoke fat backwoods to himself now LMAO I’m happy for him and glad it still helps him with his depression and anxiety 😊
Life is beautiful 24/7 … not just when you’re high. Everyone’s journey is different, but if you only think life is worth living because of weed then you really need to do some inner soul searching. Honestly, for me, Weed wad not going to solve my problems… it just made me temporarily not think about them. I needed to heal on the inside.
If you smoke weed for pain management, great! It’s better than pills!
If it helps you with your anxiety/depression, great! It’s better than hurting yourself or others!
If it helps you relax after a long day, GREAT! It’s better than feeling stiff and irritated!
    Just don’t become too dependent.
Weed isn’t hard to quit. Maybe it was easy as hell for me because it just wasn’t helping me anymore or maybe because I take kratom LOL. That’s my go to for relaxation and calmness 😄 Maybe I do still depend on a plant, but hey, whatever works for you ❤
