I've been trolling You Tube for a couple of years and IMHO Ger rates number one amongst the hundreds of lesser known great singers. Singing alongside Sinead and now Chloe made this an even more special treat than much of his other output.

The lady singer at the center is best when she goes country. Her part in "Traveling Soldier" was well done. She was better than the Dixie Chicks even when the Chicks are one of the best. Her joy is infectious.

Amazing stuff. 2020 has been a wash out but by god this man Ger O Donnell and his many collaborative tunes and sessions and albums are just a gift from the stars. I’ve listened to them all lad, I’ve bought the three albums and some day I’ll get to a gig. If the times allow it. Stay safe everyone.

Very, very rarely a RUclips video of a song emerges that surpasses the original and becomes the new standard. This is one of those.
