Great video. Love Jane Iredale cosmetics too. Yes, please do the navigating an eyeshadow palette. I don’t like big palettes anymore, probably because it’s too confusing what to choose and put together. At least a quad is paint by numbers easier for me.

Mandy! Thank you so much for your consistency. I bought the mineral foundation and wasn't that impressed. But after watching you explain once again how to apply it I pulled it out and I love it now!!! Technique apparently makes a HUGE difference!

LOVE the Hourglass Ambiance lighting powder- I won't be without. I need to try the Jane Iredale powder foundation once I am done with the Laura Geller one I am using.

I always love this topic types of videos... I've never really thought what would I have to run to repurchase. My first would be tinted sunscreen b/c that's what I use daily more as my foundation (ColorScience Glow or Flex) and then lip products. I have to have lip gloss and/or balms. Favs are the Summer Friday lip balm glosses and the Ami Cole lip treatment oils (LOVE these) and of course mascara- reach most for right now is the Caliray come hell or high water
Oh SPF is by far the first skincare product I would repurchase, even if I couldn't repurchase anything else. For sure! I need to try the Summer Fridays balm...it looks great!

The jane iredale PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation is my daily foundation. I have oily acne prone skin and pigmentation. This is by far the best powder foundation out there. I always get compliments how good my skin looks and how natural it looks. I always have at least 2 backups.

Thank goodness for you and introducing me to Jane Iredale a couple years ago! I am 61 yo with combo, easily congested skin, large pores and i live in a humid climate (Florida). Foundation has been the bane of my existence since a young age. In your words, the serum foundation and pure pressed base are perfection (+ balance spray mist). Thank you!! Question … do you ever wear cream or liquid blush with your pure pressed? If so, which ones and how do you apply? I don’t love Jane’s stick blush, which makes me sad! It just doesn’t sit nicely for me. Would love to hear what you do!
Makes me so very happy when someone else has fallen in love with the brand. The jane ones were formulated to go over the powder foundation, but if those don't work for you, I would see if you have another one and then try it before you wash your face at night. That way if it messes up you don't ruin a good look. But something may end up working great on top!
I think that would be a good video navigating an eyeshadow pallet the price on cosmetics now I think people could be taught to have better judgement when buying so they can actually use what they buy instead of giving away things or they are just left in a draw till they go bad a brilliant idea xx

The first product I would buy is concealer! My fave is Loreal Age Perfect. Of course, it’s being discontinued 🤬 So the next fave is Tarte Ultra Creamy. I buy two tones, one for the eye area and one that matches my face. Mascara - Loreal Lash Paradise and, like you, MAC Gigablack for my bottom lashes. A Laura Geller powder foundation (they discontinued my favorite one as well as their black lash primer. Are you seeing a sad pattern in my cosmetic life yet?). On my rosacea flare ups the combo of concealer and powder really works well. I’d grab Sunswept blush from Laura Geller as it works as blush, bronzer and highlighter (if it isn’t discontinued!). Milani lipliner in 03 Nude, and NYX Butterglosses in Madeline or Bit of Honey. Eyeshadow - I’d go basic and pick up Tartlette in Bloom. Can’t go wrong with that one.

This is cool as I am learning about different mineral powder foundations and I think that they look great on you. I hope to try a few, like this one. I used Bare Minerals long ago and it looked good but for years I have used La Bella Donna and I have dry skin and it looks the best on me. Have you tried it? You found gorgeous minerals. Thank you. Hi Karla! I definitely think you would like it. I have used it on grandmother's of the bride before and have had no issues. If you like a more luminous look, I would look into their amazing base. It's also gorgeous.

I haven't used that one. I tried to order at the Sephora sale but the shade was WAY too dark, so I returned it. I haven't repurchased yet.

Mandy, If someone has coloring that naturally looks blushed/bronzed, should they still use blush and/or bronzer?
Not necessarily, as long as you don't feel like your face is missing dimension. I like picking a bronzier shade blush in that instance.

The so bronze 1. They replaced those with the newer matte bronzers.
Mascara and eyebrows would have to be the first for me. My eyebrow/lashes are too white/gray to be seen!! LOL
I get that for sure! I didn't even include brows, but that's a given for me. I almost count that as part of skincare since it's a necessity for me. LOL

I am just watching you do the shadow under your eyes. In your honest opinion do you think that it is ok to do that at my age? I am 52 and I used to put shadow under my eyes but now I am just so nervous that it will look bad. What do you think?
I personally think it is worth trying. I have done it for ladies in their 70s and they look great. The most important thing is making sure most of the darkness under the eye is corrected first. If not, it could make you look a bit tired.

Am I the only one that follows the links like, YES, I want that! and then doesn't know whether I need light/medium with peach undertones or neutral undertones or pink/beige undertones or maybe I need just light, but then which undertones...... and then I end up with so many options and am prepared to only buy one that better work because I don't need to waste conservative money means on something that doesn't, and UGH! end up just giving up? What do I do?
