ESA can be any animal, and IS protected under the Fair Housing Act. The pig IS an ESA, so can be there legally. ESA & therapy animals are different, and can only dogs. Service animals can only be dogs or mini horses, they are trained specifically for tasks to help you with your disability. But there is NO registration for any of these categories, national or otherwise. The man still has a case for keeping the pig , as an ESA.
With the documents OP had and the lawyer warning the board of a federal lawsuit the board was wise to consult with legal counsel avoiding the big pay out and voting karen off the board for behavior must have been a relief to them.
According to the Americans with disabilities act, if you had documentation stating that Hamlet is a therapy animal, then thete was no legal recourse that they could have taken against you. Any attempt to force his removal was and is illegal
I was reading a bit of the therapy animal story as it was a bit noisy with people talking outside my window and was wondering what was the problem with a guinea pig until I went back to listen to the story and the voice says mini pig which made more sense.
The story about Op and not being the father but his sister is harassing him there was more to the story than what was read but bottom line the sister took it too far went to his work he almost press charges not sure if he did then he showed his mother the Reddit story where people were accusing her of having an affair and possibly op or one of his siblings might not being the dads was their reasoning for her supporting even though Op ain't the father and that made her open her eyes I guess she apologized and stopped harassing
40:00 That mother is either from a very different time or she needs to be tested for dementia and possibly put in a home. She could’ve been cheating on him and to think that he is responsible for a child that is not his is bat crap bunkers
THERAPY animal story learn something new all the time. I knew the ADA protects Service Animals but not Emotional Support Animals it comes up alot in stories about air travel
OK 1st off NO SUCH THING AS REGISTERED THRAPY ANIMAL FOR AN INDIVIDUAL. IT'S AN ESA (EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL). THEY'RE NOT REGISTERED. NOR ARE SD (SERVICE DOGS). THE ONLY ONE THAT'S RESTRICTED TO A SPECIFIC TYPE OF ANIMAL TO HELP WITH DISABILITIES IS A SERVICE ANIMAL IT CAN ONLY BE A DOG OR MINI HORSE.
This was my first thought when I saw the title. I can't take people seriously who claim to have a working animal, and can't even properly tell which type it is.
So your sister wants to volunteer to pay for kids that aren’t your responsibility?? There’s plenty of people who are in need of assistance maybe she should volunteer to give up her money to help out a local shelter or orphanage. If not then she should mind her own business and keep her opinions to herself.
The story about the ex bringing in her kid to get OP's money has a few more updates.
Pigs are cleaner than most Karens!

ADA protects Service Animals not Emotional Support Animals I didn't realize the Fair House act protects Emotional Support Animals
Paying the fine for parking in a disabled space was reality crashing in on the karen's.
