I know I'm being greedy, but I like this daily video release schedule
Thanks for watching!
Me too 😃👍
Agreed. :)
As much as I agree we the people need less videos so Larry’s heart doesn’t explode from sodium intake
@@christiansapienza9832 maybe Larry can try those rice or microwave veggies:P
Six bucks for that bowl of slop? I know I'm getting old, but I just made a 9"x13" pan of proper beef and cheese enchiladas that I think would taste better, and damn sure look better than these, and I had maybe $11 in ingredients for 13 enchiladas.
I know this is a convenience thing, but I feel like these things should check two of the cheap/fast/good boxes, and these look like they're expensive/fast/slop.
Thanks for the review, Larry. I'm loving this series.
Yes I agree. These "meals" are all overpriced rip-offs. Nothing compares to homemade and it really does not take that long to make such things.
Thanks for watching!
Agreed, with a little know how you could make it better and cheaper at home, and the leftovers would still be better than this even after being frozen.

@@TheWolfePit You're Welcome for watching uh I mean thanks for trying this food for us the people so we don't have to 👍👍
Definitely agree with your idea to package the strips separately...it only makes SENSE! lol. Still really enjoying these daily uploads😊
I love the daily videos, especially what are we eating, and eating on a budget recipes. Keep up the good work!
I also make my own enchiladas, with ground beef, green chilies, and cheese, along with the sauce. I can make 6 with 1/2 pound of meat, and I know what's in them.
Thanks for watching!
Now I know what my Dog Threw Up Last Night!!! Keep the Videos Coming Wolfe Pit Family!
Thanks for watching!
This product, if tortilla not in separate bag, have a split tray with tortilla in 2nd compartment. And say instructions vent main section but remove/fold back film on tortilla section.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos, always interesting and entertaining. Not sure if you ever did this in the past but a category I would like to see used for comparison would be healthy calories per dollar. Calories per dollar can really thrive when you ignore the fats, sugars and sodium typically used in increase taste. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks for watching!
Larry I think your right about having a extra bag with the corn strips. Then I bet it would have been 7 or an 8.
Thanks for watching!
There is a type of packaged salad that I quite like. It includes tortilla strips in a separate baggie so that they are still crisp when put on top -- like croutons.
I think I would be way more afraid, if the tortilla chips somehow were crispy still lol
Thanks for watching!
@@TheWolfePit keep up the great content!
@neomage2021 5th they could just package them separately but that would make sense and we aren't in a world where we make sense anymore.
I love your daily videos and your daughter is an Awesome Assistant! ❤️🤗🎉 I doubt that I’d buy this after watching your video. I’m so happy you do this for “Us the People, lol!” 🎉🍴🥙❤️😋
Thank you so much!
2:48 exactly! Remined me of how walmart packs their salads❤
Once again Larry, you have proved the adage "The only problem with 'common' since is it isn't really all that common".
I can kind of see your point about the tortilla strips. But who ever heard of crunchy enchiladas? I’m sure the strips were intended to substitute for rolled, whole tortillas. Being in a mixed bowl form, there wouldn’t be a reasonable way to include whole tortillas. They wouldn’t have been crispy anyway, especially in a microwave.
We the people still appreciate you, the person making these reviews!
Thanks for watching!
Near the million subscribers; don't give up!
Everyone should double check, especially if from somewhere other than USA- I was unsubscribed without choosing to be. Same happens for notifications, totally wonky.
Thanks for watching!
THANKS
Good review, thanks for sharing, God bless !
Thanks for watching!
Daily videos. I watch every day
These frozen meals makes Jack's food on Jack the Cooking Show look like gourmet.
I did a search for "riby meat" and it came back to your video. WHAT are we eating indeed!
That's my new hashtag #ribymeat
Enchiladas are corn tortilla noodles... basically soft by definition
The description on the wallyworld site says it has crunchy tortilla strips... so I would expect crunchy tortilla strips.
Enchilladas are wet soft corn cannoli... that's a disturbing thought
Same ingredients.
@@neomage2021 have you ever even HAD an enchilada? A tortilla is made from CORN masa... I hope I never have a canoli made from corn.
@@neomage2021 I could see it. Crispy fried formed corn tortillas filled w cream and drizzled w honey
"Exclusively at Wal-Mart" That explains alot. 😅
Great review, keep 'em coming!
I'm very glad you seem to be feeling better and returned to speaking at Normal Speed, Larry!
In their defense, enchiladas aren't crunchy. Your take is the one I'd prefer though! Sitting here now trying to figure out if I shoud buy the bowl and pick out all the tortilla strips and replace them with crispy ones at the end. 😂😂😂
I'm guessing the corn strips are suppossed to take the place of the corn tortillas in the dish which are never crispy. I'd go so far as to say if I had crispy enchiladas out in a restaurant, I'd send them back because they aren't supposed to be!! LOL
Totally agree. Many of these meals would be much better with just a little bit more thought and common sense in packaging them.
4:10 While watching this, I was thinking a couple heaping tablespoons of Salsa on that would be good ... then Larry says "it needs hot sauce & sour cream" !!
We both thought it needs a little "something extra" to bring it home.
This is my first time watching one of your videos since 2018. From the intro the end I had a little smile on my face because this is Classic Wolfe Pit content just like I used to watch. Top Tier Dad Jokes and just overall great commentary and criticism. Good to see ya still going!
LOL when he showed the clips of him 😅
Chillaquilles are delicious and tortilla are supposed to be soggy with enchilada sauce for that meal
Couldn’t they have filled the bowl to around the top for that price? Or at least to the halfway spot? It would be funny if it was in a movie or something but this is real? 😮
Far too little for the price, however it tastes. 😒
yeah 6 bucks and you don't even get a whole bowl
Thanks for watching!
That's how frozen dinners have gotten lately I used to buy those banquet backyard bbqs those stopped filling me now I buy stoufers they are better but for 4 29 it's getting pricy and that doesn't look like any enchiladas at all
@@Bond007er have you ever tried those Fontera Bowls, I believe they are called? I think Larry reviewed one on his channel and liked it, but I used to grub on those in 2018. Honestly the amount wasn’t much better than the one on this video, and it was pricey even back before the mega inflation going around $3.50-$4 ish dollars when I ate them but the quality for a frozen dinner was great. Very good tasting and it was mostly Mexican style food. It tasted surprisingly fresh for being frozen and I’d say worth the price. But if they are still made today, not sure if it would be worth the probably higher price and maybe got hit with the shrinkflation like this one did, and probably like the Banquet one you described.
Theres a reason why they didn't put the strips in a separate pouch. If they did, you would see how little of everything else there is in this.
I have this in my freezer. 😮
how do you think that anti fungal reacts to other medications?
Love ur videos Larry as a long time subscriber I like to say 2 things 1 although I like 5he daily upload but I prefer the longer videos as I've an attention span of more than a gnat but that's just me and where oh were is scooter besides that great videos my rant over 😂
That's the same bowl Ramsey uses. These TV chefs are laughing all the way to the bank.
You should do a review on the Eggland's best breakfast bowls they're just as expensive at 5.00
Thanks for watching!
Meat slurry concoction is the perfect way to describe Guy Fieri.
Thank you for the uploads.
Glad you like them!
I have a feeling those celebrities never even tried the meals
Thanks for watching!
These Food Network Chefs are probably making quite a bit off of these less-than-quality meals. So very sad and greedy. I know that some are good and some are bad, but you help us make the decision on what to buy. I am thankful that you make these videos! Thank you so much, Larry!!! Hugs to you and your family!
Love the descriptions!
"At first glance and first smell, this looks and smells delicious."
...proceeds to mix it up and make it look like slop...
LOL
How should I have eaten it?
@@TheWolfePit I dunno. It looked better before you stirred it. 🙂
Might as well get the Amy’s tv dinners.
Which are less expensive and better.
@@mikelundquist4596 Less expensive? Where do you get them where they are less expensive?
@@richardgray8593 the guy fieri bowl is 5.98 and the Amy's is about 5.48, so about .50 cheaper, or 8%.
@@mikelundquist4596 Those Amy's organic bowl meals? To each their own, but yuuuuck! Every one I've tried tasted horrible.
@@DBWave94 to be honest, I don't buy either. Since retiring I cook 95% of my meals at home. And I'm a pretty good cook.
I too wish to go to flavor town as well
Thanks for watching!
Flavortown is next door to food Hell.... Botulism, Cholera and dysentery.
Looks like $6 is the barrier to a "Star" meal...I'll pass
Yeah looks like little more than a cash grab, I doubt they will keep making them after the first batch and then you might even see them half price soon
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching!
Your reviews are fabulous. Would you consider trying a few vegetarian frozen meals? No presh
I really miss your videos when you used to Try usual foods from other countries.
More to come!
@@TheWolfePit Yea!!! I am looking forward to those!
Bought the Gordon Ramsey Mac and cheese it was great. Bought another one for the freezer. It’s basically 6 bucks but it beats the orange monotonous soggy crap that gives you double but you don’t want to eat it…
Guy Fieri slathers BBQ sauce on a bullet. He loads it, and puts the gun in his mouth. "One last trip" he whispers "to Flavortown"
Deviled eggs are one of my wife’s specialty. Now we will try the bacon garnish for Thanksgiving. Thanks
Excellent review.
Glad you liked it!
Agree 100% with the review! The "crispy" tortilla strips haven't been crispy since they were at the factory before being stuck in the bowl! I kind of took this as the strips are now moist, like a real enchilada but not wrapped around the filling. Texture was completely mushy, but flavor was good. Reviewer is right -- the chicken is cut chunks, not pulled.
I love your show (patron here) and especially your reviews, and the short form is great. But we have different tastes in enchiladas because to me crunchy does not belong in an enchiladas. But then, I'm not one to enjoy Americanized hardshell tacos - more of a street taco guy.
thank you very much for your support
Pro:
-It's got flavor and is delicious.
Con:
-Literally everything else about it sucks.
I've never seen Guy in a Chefs Outfit, he looks so funny on the front box
I'm pretty much right there right there with ya. I tried that about a week after they came out. Ì thought jthe flavor profile was great, but texture left a lot to be desired
If it was cheaper and the tortilla strips were in a separate Packaging... honestly be a banging Snick snack
Thanks for watching!
It didn't look good before and after cooking. It got worse after you stirred it up. I agree with you. The tortilla strips should have been on the side
Tasty thumbnail tho :)
Just what is RIBY MEAT? SCARY
Could you do a BEEF JERKY show, the prices range so greatly - I'd love to get you opinions on several. Thanks.
Target next😮
It’s the cost cutting in production for separate plastic baggies for the chips, probably could have saved the dish
I've seen all these type of meals at Walmart, but I've always passed on them because I knew they would be overpriced and overrated. Case in point, this is a good example.
I gave the like for you, as a person.
I think you for that!
that actually looks good
Who is seasoning these plates at the factories with all the sodium? Goro from Mortal Kombat??
LOL Thanks for watching!
I appreciate your videos. Im certain that you've szved me a couple hundred dollars over the past few years trying things so I don't have to. Thsnk you Mr Wolfpit! Thanks for sharing.
Glad to help Thanks for watching!
I double dog dare you to recreate a cooking with jack meal. 😂
LOL Which one would be a good one?
@@TheWolfePit on second thought...none. we need you to keep making content. You can't make content from the hospital.
I bet Larry could make a better (non mush) version of this, for cheaper & it would taste better
Thanks for watching!
Any time 😀. Keep up the great videos
Riby meat lol
All these chefs seemed to have debuted at Walmart. There is no Walmart within 20 miles of where I live so....I buy regular items online from Walmart and have them delivered but I am glad I don't buy frozen food there...Yuck! It is my only place for a good price to buy Sweet Baby Ray Beef Jerky...Love it!
The slop of the zman - hilarious.
Thanks for watching!
Whoa, that looks awful to me. Thanks for the always honest review ! :)
Potato chips 🍟
Made your pepper steak...So good! thanks.
I've never seen guy cook as long as I been watching him on tv
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@TheWolfePit You are most welcome
So it does not, in fact, put the shama lama in ding dong. Haha
LOL Thanks for watching!
This looks like it'd be a good filling if you had some flour tortillas sitting around on the counter.
Pretty sure one can recreate each of these slop jobs and make a single serving for cheaper and better. Most you can make a whole meal for a normal family of four (if not more) for near the same $6 price and way better.
can you please give these meals a higher rating due to them being endorsed by famous worldwide celebrities that are highly cherished and honored by their fans
I’ve never had enchiladas with crispy tortillas in my life tho
Neither have I but I think they put the tortilla strips in for the purpose of adding tetxture and crispiness
I would definitely add some salsa and sour cream.
Thanks for watching!
We live you wolf keep it up❤❤ hope you live 100years
This bathroom is the bomb, we should fry some bologna in here 😎
Buttons hit, for you, who takes the bullet for us, the people.
We , the people, want SCOOTER!!!!!
this product sold labeled as 'food' has a medication in it that acts an fungal killer. so that means theyre preemptively trying to keep the mold at bay at some point between the food being mixed and it getting in your microwave (cause whos tested how natamycin reacts to microwave radiation?) OR killing mold actively regardless of the 'inhibitor' 'reason' given. im not going to refer to it as food, im not going to spend money on it, i definitely wont injest it, and ill look down on those who created it. how long did they want to let that shit sit before freezing it? what kind of precedent is even TRYING this shit setting? or rather, what bar is lowering? how many more fronts of attacks on our lives til we start focusing on what to do about the problem and less of what the problem tastes like? how little is needed to react to someones medications theyre taking? so many questions that could potentially be considered
Thanks for watching!
I just had this the other day and yeah he's right it just a bowl of mush. More like tamales than enchilada texture.
YES you're right!
Dang, this looks like a really decent $2 frozen dinner. Too bad they didn't put the textural elements in a separate packet like $0.75 ramen do. Too bad it costs $6.
Have you ever eaten enchiladas where the tortillas were crispy?
Wouldnt it actually be incorrect, and not an enchilada bowl, if the strips were?
In answer to the question posed by the video description: Guy Fieri.
Mr Wolfe pit. I'm no Chef but if I was famous like the other guy's are, why not put your name on the box. I'm sure they receive royalty from someone. Anyways, the videos 📹 and great!! Keep up the awesome work 👍
Great idea!! Thanks for watching!
What keeps many celebrities from cashing in on putting their name on substandard products is integrity. A rare concept nowadays in our greed-based world.
"Exclusively at Wal-Mart" is a big red flag right there.
GOOD POINT!
Maybe you and your daughter could cook some of these meals
YES! Thanks for watching!
I quit buying food that needs a microwave. Also quit eating canned food, drinking pop and juices. Save your health!!!
The price on some of these items might be okay if they were high quality and presented better. For what it is, I would try for about half the price, I am cheap.
Thanks for saving me from buying this!
Thanks for watching!
I’ve never eaten a crunchy enchilada. So I’m not sure why you’d expect the tortilla chips would crunch?
Neither have I but I think in this meal the strips werea condiment meant to be crunchy, Like when you add them to salads or tortilla soup.
