    Omg! I just made a comment in another video asking you to make a oral care routine video but here it is! Please disregard the comment😂. Love that I can watch this right now and not wait, yay. I am so excited!

      Haha I gotchuuu! Responding to another part of your previous comment, I talk more in-depth about the oral pik in the "what didn't work for me" video so spoiler, it doesn't work for me lol.

    Thank you so much, Paul, for sharing your experiences. I have been on a similar journey. The Water Pik has been a live saver for me, but we're all different. I'm really into Xylitol. I am with you on the fact that oral care is not something you do just twice a day. I do my thing all day long and have seen great results. I am really into hydroxyappitite tooth paste. Thank you so much. You're the best!!!

      Glad to hear that you have a similar story and have found some things that work for ya. You and many others I have talked to have raving reviews when it comes to the water pik and I am glad that it is working for a big chunk of people (sadly enough its just not for me!).
      From not hearing about it at all to now seeing two mentions of it TODAY, I really need to try a toothpaste with hydroxyapatite haha. Appreciate the comment , have a stellar day!

      @@MasterEverydayLiving why doesnt the waterpik work for you? you aim it 45 degrees into your gums and everything in between gets shot out

      @@joenyc At the end of the day, when I maintain my routine throughout the day I hardly have any plaque buildup or hidden gunk so there is nothing to get "shot out" xD
      The rare buildup that occurs for me is in the back pockets (where my wisdom teeth used to be), which the water pik doesn't work that well on.
      So my metal pick does everything I need in the areas that might have some buildup (which is rare when I maintain my teeth properly throughout the day and keep my diet clean and simple).

    Hello Paul, I have started using Hydroxyapatite toothpaste. Our teeth are made from it. It's helping to remineralise my teeth. The testimony, with X Rays to prove it, is what made me try. I will get my son to help me to share the link of the video. ❤

    • @MasterEverydayLiving
      @MasterEverydayLiving  2 месяца назад +4

      Hey, appreciate the comment. I actually don't have link sharing enabled but anyone who is curious (like me) can just google Hydroxyapatite toothpaste and look into it themselves. Never heard of it and looking further into it, I am totally gonna try a tube if I can find it the next time I get toothpaste!! Cheers :D

      @@MasterEverydayLivingHello! Just so you know most of them are quite expensive. The one me, and my son are having really good benefits from is only £4 for 100ml. It's called SPLAT. Fun fact, they have been using the Hydroxyapetite for decades in Japan, instead of Flouride.

    I've heard that you shouldn't sip water throughout the day, as this prevents the natural 'good' biofilm from building up and protecting the teeth. Sure, keep hydrated but keep sipping to a minimum. I think it was dr Ellie Philips who said this.

    • @MasterEverydayLiving
      @MasterEverydayLiving  Месяц назад +2

      I've heard that too. I usually do drink my water in big chunks and small timeframes instead of small sips throughout the day. It makes me wonder thou, what if you drank your water with a straw? That would bypass it lingering in your mouth and put it straight down your throat, right?!

    • @Lina126y
      @Lina126y Месяц назад

      I heard that too but since Dr Ellie Phillips routine has made me so sensitive, I’m doubting the system and I need to try different things. I was also getting dry mouth and now I make it a point to drink water throughout the day.

      @@MasterEverydayLiving I think it is recommended that acidic drinks such as coffee, diluted apple cider vinegar, and lemon water are kept in the mouth for a minimum amount of time. One way of doing this is with a straw, but also to immediately neutralise the pH with xylitol after drinking.
      Have you tried mouth-taping during sleep? A dentist, Dr Mark Burhenne recommends this as it promotes nasal breathing and neutralises the pH of the mouth during sleep. I am in the first few days of trying this, and excited to see the long-term benefits. Maybe worth adding to your protocol and possibly an idea for a new video?

    • @MasterEverydayLiving
      @MasterEverydayLiving  Месяц назад +1

      @@DavidB773 I have heard of mouth taping but fortunately for me, I naturally sleep with my mouth closed. Hopefully mouth taping works for you if you have an issue with that!
      I do have a lot of sleep focused videos that I want to start creating soon since I have optimized that in many different ways (sleep position, ideal sleep times, sleeping without an alarm clock, trying to sleep twice per day, etc) so you will eventually see some of those in your feed from me :P

      @@MasterEverydayLiving It's difficult to know if I actually mouth breath during sleep, though I certainly don't whilst awake. A while ago I tried a snoring app which showed the occasional moment of snoring during the night suggesting my mouth would have been open at that point. I think mouth taping just reaffirms nasal breathing even if you think you don't mouth breath.
      I look forward to your sleep focused videos!

      Glad you like the recommendations, I think it would be so specific as to where I get the products that it wouldn't be worth it unless you live in Toronto. Some is from online shopping, some is from a local healthstore, some is from my supermarket +____+
      So no real allegiance to a specific place but just constantly hunting for things online and in-person until I find it lol

      I haven't visited a dentist for a couple of years now. I just don't see any need for it. I have no tooth aches, there is no buildup of plaque, no bad breath and my mouth feels great. As long as I don't experience any issues, I won't go to the dentist anytime soon!

      My bad breath reduced quite significantly just by doing oil pulling within the first 3 months. If you are following my current routine in this video and still have bad breath in a few weeks, I would investigate further to see if there are other underlying problems causing it like unbalanced diet or tonsil stones.

    Oats and nuts I would rate as extremely saliva flow causing, terrible carbohydratey unbalanced meal.

    • @MasterEverydayLiving
      @MasterEverydayLiving  Месяц назад +3

      From my limited research, oats seem to be a complex carbohydrate that contain plenty of fibre, both soluble and insoluble, as well as beta-glucan. It is a breakfast meal that I have found that works well for me and perhaps that "complex" part might be why it might not be such a terrible and unbalanced meal.
      Just curious, what do you usually eat for breakfast? Always down to try new breakfast routines :D

      I don't think I have ever had a toothpaste with flouride.
      Checked recently and I stand corrected, I do sometimes get toothpaste with Fluoride. I don't do it intentionally but I just so happen to get it (Like the Sensodyne I recently got)
