Nissan Murano not for blasting down the road like this, however, it is very smooth, quiet comfortable and has adequate power. Most people will love it, if you can overlook the rear visibility, lack of wireless Apple CarPlay and handling that’s tuned more for comfort than sport.
I even considered a Murano multiple times but settled on a CR-V because it was more affordable in the long run. Otherwise, the features in these cars are what most people want
@@mistah_nahamsha That’s a step down and I have to wonder, was it that much cheaper? CRV is expensive now. I consider the CRVs, RAV4s, Tiguans, CX5 etc to maybe be okay for rental cars but these are economy SUVs, in a different class. And they never let you forget it.
@Jake Martin A family member had the CR-V and sold it to me for a really good price so I decided it might be a better decision. If I get another SUV it will probably be a Murano.
@thegodfreyspecial423 the car actually moves pretty good just have a flat engine drone under hard throttle. In normal driving these work very well. Always in the perfect ratio.

I don't understand why you would hate something that drives 10x smoother in traffic with double the gas mileage of a normal auto trans..you get a manual or a dual clutch if you want a race car
@@msrr1303 it gets wayyy higher gas mileage and you can't deny it ..I've owned 11 cars and not one of them touched 30 expect my maxima....I could get 40mpg going 80 on highway all day and 33 in town ...there's no mods for anything CVT tho so I ditched it and bought a used focus ST...enjoying is so far and really enjoying not having car payments...but the cvt gas mileage is no joke

I test drove the 2016 Murano, Loved it, but now I have a 2016 Rogue SL... The rogue seems to have more headroom & more cargo space.
Nissan CVT in a nutshell
(00:05) Wow this thing is slow...
(00:08) A little better, but still kinda slow...
(00:11) There we go!
Have 2 understand how old this transmission is and how they got 28mpg out of it. Doesn't have enough range 2 do both so they chose fuel economy
Shifts out of 1st at 70mph 🫡
It only has "1st" ...CVT Junk

Fast as PHUCK!
That CVT lag...
I dont understand why its so bad in a car my turbo s rzr has one and if u floor it you get max rpm the whole time
More like a 0-100 but great job
It’s like slow-fast
It’s slow at first but then starts to accelerate faster
2020 with 15,558 miles??
Probably a 2018...
They probably bought it mid 2019
Delivery driver, long commute to work, busy parent or a vehicle with multiple drivers
Or a rental
I like how your title says 0-60 but you went past 100
Murano is good from a roll at like 30+ it feels safer for the CVT.
0:11 look at my little Nissan Murano cvt Just whining
y’all omg where are the gears….
Did the transmission break after filming this?
No, no it didn't. You might just be watching a little bit too much Scotty Kilmer because you're assumptions are WRONG about Nissan.

@@kanishkthirumala736 I agree, I have a 2015 murano and drive pretty hard. It’s given me no issues, I love it

I have a 06 odyssey and it has better pickup than these. You’ll be going through transmissions every 80k to 100k miles with these
Soul less CVT. Nice acceleration, but it sounds awful.
The engine is great but the transmission holds it back a bit.
Silly cvt pretends to do 70 mph in first gear!!
Garbage cvt shows
Hate CVT

@@outdat3d-04zx10r-ha for real no one gets a family SUV like this to tackle the backroads. This is a NA V6 getting 30 highway, it’s meant for comfort.
