@@DMCarReviews I know, but this certainly isn't the latest version of the Nissan XTRONIC cvt. It acts like the previous pathfinder cvt. It is nowhere responsive as the maxima, altima or rogues cvt.
I do love the Murano, if I could purchase multiple cars this would be an SUV choice I would pick; the only thing it’s missing on the platinum is power folding mirrors. I’m surprised they never added that feature. Otherwise I feel the SUV is perfect.
I've driven one of these, in Platinum spec. I like these much more than a Rouge. The engine was nice. I liked how substantial and elegant it was, especially for being a Nissan. Nissan have some of the biggest gaps in price between trim levels in the passenger car business. In my opinion the Platinum trim is so nice it could pass for an Infiniti. Unlike cost-optimizing cars like VW does, Nissan give you a lot of little interior extra's for spending extra cash.
I agree with you 100%. They are built very well, with high quality materials. Very nice cars, especially with how expensive the market is nowadays. They have some solid value in them. I love that they haven't changed them much.
@@sulaimansafi5457 I did like the grand highlander but its too big. im a single dude and not very often anyone is in the car with me. I just traded in my grand cherokee, wanted to down size just a wee bit.. the murano is very solid
@@DMCarReviews yeah, more reliable and guess what? It holds its value, more practical because it’s bigger. Also, the 2015 Nissan Murrano looks exactly the same. 🤣 no updates in 8 years
It’s not a bad vehicle. I own a 2023 myself but that damn CVT stunts the engine really badly. The new 2025 I believe will have a 9 speed transmission…. Also, the tech is behind the times with the tiny low res infotainment screen and wired Apple CarPlay.
Its slow
No lol
i can't believe how responsive it is. considering the nissan cvt
It's very responsive.
If you want off the line quick response, go with the Mazda CX-5
They aren't in the same size class...
This has the older cvt. Off the line acceleration sucks.
CVT's in general aren't the best off the line

@@bradleyscarreviewsPossibly! Once you are moving, it's super responsive.
I’m the guy who keeps a vehicle 15-20 yrs and want something that will last.
mannn u didnt turn off ac!
Makes no difference in these modern cars.
@@DMCarReviews i must be feeling placebo then in my 2019

I noticed that too, but then again, I really don't mind because folding in and out would wear out the motor.

I spent all last week test driving pretty much every suv on the market, bought the murano yesterday. hands down the best option
It's great!
You know you could buy grand Highlander or Lexus TX or RX350. Holds resale value more reliable and luxurious
