I’m a house cleaner and rich people are the worst to clean for. Their houses have elaborate bathrooms, hard flooring and expensive rugs with fringe, detailed wood work on the walls, etc, which make it longer to clean. Yet they are the only ones who balk at my prices. They act as if they’re entitled to a lower hourly rate, for reasons? Because they’re rich? And they’re the pickiest and act as if they’re better than me.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I don't work to give 91% of my earnings for my hard work to the government. Work more, get more. What's the point of working to earn money if you are going to be forced to give it away. I think everyone should have a flat income tax of 20% and no sales tax. Problem solved, keep it simple. IRS will be simplified to record keeping. I do agree that money distribution is totally screwed. It's set up to make the rich, richer and the poor, poorer. I don't know what the solution to that is.

Not one of those people EARNED that money. I work in retail where the money is made by selling things to people. The members of the corporate offices and c-suites did not sell a single item, deliver a single item, stock one shelf or deliver any product from a warehouse to the store, and yet they take the vast, vast majority of that money. Reality is nonsense.

Retail workers are so screwed here. Your crew is stretched thin, the benefits are terrible and noticeably decrease the longer you stay, the breaks are inadequate, the leg pain just gets worse and worse from standing/walking for 8+ hours. And people still believe the lies from the corporate overlords that the profit margins are too low to do any better for their workers. Or even worse, people don't believe that retail/service workers deserve better because they see them as servants/slaves.

It really does give new meaning to corporate welfare. They say this about poor people being given money. But ignore when corporations and super wealthy are given money. Think about this. This rich person/corporation doesn't have to do anything to make more money. He just waits for a bigger tax cut and he will automatically get paid more. No spending any extra money on R&D, no paying for extra people at work, no spending extra on raises for people. Just sit back, get a bigger tax cut and collect even more money... then spend it on politicians to give you more government contracts... brilliant.
