I don't want money or luxury, but I would love to live a life like this with my loved one. You both are very lucky.
where do you live that they don't have beaches?
Everyone only wants that if they realise money is an illusion created by those who wants to control us
Me too. Honestly.
@@dedpxl - I live in the City, there are tons of bitches!
revolt 07 So glad to see others of like mind :)
I love this man. Too pure. Too good. He must be protected at all costs
I laughed hard at "rubbed 2 seagulls together", this made my day! I love your sense of humor :) Thank you
Your lovely patch of Ireland reminds me of how Dorset was 50 years ago when I would go fishing and see some of the lovely little creatures that have mostly disappeared from our shores
I wish I could consider it safe to to eat the seaweed here, but there are now too many oil spewing boats that have economic priority.
This really brings home to me how pollution is destroying our world
Thank you for sharing the pleasure of seeing little creatures that have as much as right to existence as us
+Robin Ergis Yes, for all its many faults Ireland has some redeeming features still. And over on our side there's still some wilderness in the shallows : - )
The sweetest couple i'd ever seen...
More love from you guys...❤💕
My Husband and I watched this together and it ended with us smiling ear to ear. You guys are adorable
Ok? And
i just love it when you call that tiny crab as 'edible crab'
That's what it is. It's just a baby.
Yeah, oddly enough the name of the species is called "edible crab" and they test pretty bloody good~!
i love her hands..full of calluses..voice full of kindness and so gentle..❤❤❤
Used a Kelly Kettle over 60 years ago in the Scouts. Our Group Scout Leader was Irish and he had one. I believe the Irish ghillies use(d) them too, to brew tea for clients on the islands in the lakes where they fished for trout. Marvellous invention, and so simple! Les
I watched the entire video with a smile on my face. Its so energizing and beautiful to see both of you in that wonderful setting. Who needs a therapist, ill just watch your work in nature.
Simply lovely and thank you!!!!

'....rub two seagulls together or something!' Great vid, short but a decent amount of good info and clear shots making it easy to identify what was foraged while the story and narration really got your warm characters across. I always appreciate people who go to such effort to share their knowledge.
You both are couple whose usually written in a book of tale, rich of knowledge, humble, cheerful, tough, pretty&handsome, never starves, never thirst, your life is magical. Just like in the book of Lord of The Rings, living rich low profile life in Hobbiton, but you both are so much more.
You both are very lucky to having each other.
I really like that you took time to show all the different animals
You mean the
*EDIBLE* *ANIMALS*
It is the simplest things in life the ones that hold the most treasure. Cheers!
Thank you for taking us along on your wonderful journey and showing us your strategies and all the little friends you came across. Appreciated the animal IDs too!
God bless both of you, thanks for sharing, y'all make a wonderful couple.
Thanks a ton for making such a great video! I love tidal zones and coasts, and don't at all blame you for getting distracted :P Going on a biology field expedition with the Uni tomorrow, and since we're near the beach I'll spend a few hours collecting whatever edibles we have here in Denmark
Cheers!
Beautifully filmed and very informative, thank you
I spent every possible moment when I could get away from my abusive parents, either with my head in a hedge looking for bird nests, or picking wild flowers in the fields and woods, or when the tide was out, searching in the rock pools and more. Kept myself sane that way.
Such quality life you guys have. I aspire to do the same. What is more satisfying than having your own garden, grow your own food and breathe fresh air everyday, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Not to mention you got to harvest seaweed for free!
Awesome video and you people are lovely people🙂😃
Love from New Zealand
I hope you always continue making and narrating these videos. They brighten my day and soothe me. And your care of your animals inspires me to also care for my dog better as well.
Hey, you are a great couple and I really enjoyed your video, as I am about to embark on the seaweed foraging (around South Wales coast) for the first time. Thanks for sharing and for your knowledge
Good luck!
the two of you look cute together doing your activities. I remember my childhood vacations in the sea side of my hometown where my little sister, friends, dogs and I used to walk on the sea side coral reefs when its low tide to gather some sea shells and discover a lot of interesting things in the sea. sure brings back great memories. thanks for this video.
I also got an idea of making and sipping some tea while on the beach. I must try that when I get the chance to visit my hometown.
It's amazing. Thank you, we are starting seaweed harvesting from tomorrow. :)
Had no idea there were so many varieties of seaweed. We're landlocked here, wish we had beautiful shores and fishing areas near by. TY for taking us along and good luck with the cooking of nature's bounty. Gretchen
How absolutely lovely 💚💚thank you for sharing
Loved the tea ending
The two of you seem like the sweetest people! I love all of your videos and the places you go and the things you do!

Yes he did!
Another well done video! Even though I don't live by the sea, this points out that there is much to be found if one just knew what to look for. Thanks so much for sharing your fascinating life.
+Valerie Dawnstar Glad you liked it Valerie. We don't really know what other people want to see, so we just film what we're doing and put it up.
+WayOutWest Blowinblog I, for one, am glad for that. Such a happy and gentle life!
An outstanding video with plenty of information about variants of seaweed. Nettle tea is great for lowering blood pressure to mention just one of it's many benefits. Thanks for sharing

I love my Kelly kettle, specially when its minus 40 and the wind is blowing hard, nothing makes a quiker cup of tea then! I have the largest stainless steel one... I've had it about 4 years now...
Oh I do love your voice!😃 Reminds me of a voice I've always loved - that of Oliver Postgate 💝 I recently moved to a small island and excited about harvesting sea weed. Thank you 🙏

+Elyse Joseph Thanks Elyse. The sea is one of the main reasons for us to live here. (Not sure how we could live far from the sea!)
Now I want to try that pepper dulse. ...and dozens of other seaweeds. You can only buy so few where I live, sadly.
Ah hello from Canada!!! I just found you and I am so glad I did! Looking forward to watching more of your adventures!
Welcome aboard!
Terrific! I always knew there was a useful purpose for seaweed.
Yay i would love to go there and get some!☺️

I am so jealous with everything you two have in life.
pnoysuede me too
You can have what they have where there is a will there is away
Don't be jealous, just start by doing little things like putting your finger up at your $super expensive store$ and walking by with whatever free food you found...
I am jealous of your wonderful adventure. Your wife has a beautiful smiling face.
We agree!
So beautiful and lovely to watch. New subbie from San Antonio, TX
A full of resources to find edible sea weeds. Thumbs up :)
I love seaweed, can't wait to see what you make with your bounty.
And yet another IRIE Upload! Wow, so many varieties of seaweed and edible as well, and the marine life was such a pleasure to view,....yes, I remember in high school our teacher told us that the northernmost, southernmost ocean waters or the deepest waters, because of how cold they are, are the most richest on the globe! Loved seeing the tiny crab, the fish, the starfish and seeing ya both drink your hot cup of Kelly Kettle brewed tea, nettles, those are stinging nettles, people have told me they're very nutritious. Uprated, sure glad I found your COOL RUclips Channel! :)
Thanks, Joe : - )
That was fascinating. So many varieties of seaweed in that one area! And that single boulder was like its own little planet teeming with different creatures.
I love the Kelly Kettle. It is really a kind of rocket stove. It is very efficient at getting the most energy out of the wood; that's why it was surprisingly fast. With all the available accessories, it can be a whole cook kit. I have a pot and 2 cups that can all nest inside the bottom, and a grate, or grill, for the bottom so I can cook on that. I also have their insert for the top that will hold a pan so you can cook something and boil your water at the same time. The cups even have silicone lip protectors. You just have to careful not to let the kettle go dry while on the fire or coals.
I got excellent service from the Kelly Kettle people. It arrived here in Washington State faster than many things that ship from the U.S.!
Exactly! Kelly Kettles are the best and we use ours regularly
what a wonderful way to spend the day :)
I love your Kelly Kettle more than the others. Its more interesting
Amazing video. I loved it. Thank you.
