Does anybody know what kind of mouthpieces the low brass and mellophones were using? They had a ton of mass on the cup and produced an amazing sound! I can’t find them anywhere
IYM Corp Maximus. I have the M1 for mello. I used it marching one season in college but honestly didn't really notice much of a difference in sound, but the extra heft of the mouthpiece definitely made the mello feel more balanced weight-wise overall. I don't believe the company still exists anymore, unfortunately. You might be able to find one secondhand, but I don't think you can order new ones anymore to my knowledge.
This is probably the hardest cavaliers show put on the field. They literally don’t stop moving
Can confirm.
btw this drum book is super innovative. reminds me of what the bluecoats are doing now. its about the groove not the amount of notes. 5:35
I ran…I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more…
I marched 2003 and think this show was probably harder.
@@jaymendoza2589 that's the other contender for sure.
I was there. The guard was on fire.
Love this - I was in the guard. Thanks for sharing!
Underrated.
My band director marched in this show 😆
