Thanks for sharing these, love it. When I see the door/window item, I also see you have bones like I just did yesterday. Glad to see we have the same preferance😊
Thank you for the detailed info 👍I'm glad you explained the "Pointy house ring" lol cos when I saw it, I thought Hmmmm 😱🤣 BUT the fact it was made by your (very talented) 5yo son warmed my heart 👏 I look forward to seeing the finished pieces, esp the pointy house 😁well done young man 👏👏
This is so fascinating to watch!! I guess you are planning on replicating church windows with enamel? I am curious what is going to develop out of these beautiful pieces! You are such an inspiration and incredible artist!
Thank you Janita! Yes this idea started many years ago when I painted some night sky views through a gothic window, which I'm now developing in two pieces, enamel + silver frame, or standalone silver frame.
@@enamelWorkshop oh, it looked like there was liquid in the cup you were placing the pieces in. My question about liquid was because I've seen people use something to smooth out the ridges in their carvings.... any advice on how to get a smooth finish? Thanks
Any tips on finding a caster? I am very interested in this process but struggling to find a company who will get the job done at an affordable price. Thanks so much for this helpful video!
I am not aware of any book on this technique although I am sure it does exist! I recommend you search RUclips for Kate Wolf, I have her tools and I love them. I think she teaches wax carving but not sure if she has video classes available. She probably has a website.
Those cathedral window designs look awesome, I love it!

Great video, How are you getting the paper to stick to the wax?
Thanks, sticker paper or pritt stick
nice work :) how did you take off the wax off the glass ball without getting them dismantled?
It just pops off by shifting it a little
Love the process video! What liquid are you putting the pieces in? Thanks :)
I don't think I'm putting the pieces in any liquid!

What will you use these casted pieces for?
As they are for jewelry pieces, and also as frames for enamels.
