Me too!!! It literally blew my mind! I turned around and told a bunch of cute phish heads it was my first sho. Then they puddled me and I had the best night of my life lol

That was great. The band was on fire. The Kenny Rodgers cameo was great and then Trey played a little Gambler in is Possum solo. Free was great, I love it. BDNL was beautiful as always. And the last line cut off.... doh. Remember kids, whatever you do take care of your shoes.
My first Phish show too! So cool to see footage from this magical evening. I remember lighting up those floating lanterns. 62 shows and counting since then.
Funny, I loved phish at first listen as a 14 year old in 96…. Billy Breathes album. Mind blown. Didn’t attend a show until 20 years later - 2016!!!!! The Mann. Slow Llama 🦙 I liked Phish and had a thing before this… but I “got it” at that show and Phish is now a huge part of my existence in very strange ways. One premonition after another.
I was at the original 2002 Bonnaroo and I was hoping and praying that Phish would make an appearance during Trey's set. We did get a couple acoustic Phish renditions by Trey which was nice but its so great to see them at the festival 10 years later.
I’ve been deadhead for 35 years, am a jam band guitarist, but I’ve just never seen the appeal of Phish… Maybe I would get it if I went to a show? Their music just seems boring and uninteresting to me. 🤷🏼♂️
Wow!! This was my first Phish show! A bit late to the game but I made it eventually. Thanks for posting.
damn don't we all wish we were there
This was my first Phish show. I had no idea what I was getting into but boy I'm glad that I went.

Great set - they sound tight, they’re bringing that “convert the first-timers” energy. Great mix of funky and rockin.

The look trey was giving Kenny was pure love. Almost when he was watching Derek play the dead.
This is classic Phish. Love it!!!💥
I remember this guy was giving out cups of 🍄Tea from a gallon jug near our campsite. What a night.
41:45 Trey just casually dropping a riff that most guitarists could only dream of. Amazing.
That riff isn't that hard man.
Channeling Garcia Railroad blues
Oh god the flying candles almost taking out the soundboard and shit lol those tortilla wars and glow stick wars were epic
Almost forgot about the tortilla wars haha.
Thousands of flying Glow sticks !
HAHA. . Kenny Rogers!! Awesome!

That's how I felt about Roo 2004. It was sad after, realizing I would actually never get to see Phish. Now I'm 120 shows deep. :)
@@justinlittle3603 Damn! Nice one. You went in.

Trey’s face during the Kenny sit in is priceless
I came here to say this. He's so intently listening and taking this in!
Came here from a meme based on that 😂
I was in the House for this madness... Thank You! - You're Doing God's Work.
There was a `flash tortilla war` minutes before this set
🎉 I wish I was there 😂

Axilla! Axilla! Axilla! (27:15)

That sample was crazy !!! Dang !!!

Pretty sure "The Gambler" is Trey's nod to sobriety.....
PLM ftw
