- After learning all their allies from Polar Star were defeated in shokugeki, the remaining members of the resistance are at a loss as to what to do. Soma has a plan to not only win but get all their friends back. Simply challenge the members for their seats and take over the majority of the council.

Probably because they can win with expulsion WITHOUT having to put their seat on the line. In their head, it's like betting one million dollars when the chance of winning is a million to one (one being the rebels). There's no reason to make such a bet with so little outcome

Well eizan never wagered his seat so no, but it did prove soma can compete against them. Although eizan wasn't giving it his all

@@anonnimoose7987well with one exception: Eizan. Reason: he basically bribed the 3 judges into voting him to win when soma challenged him to a Shokugeki to void the demolition of the dormitory, however that plan backfired, not saying he did but out of all the elite 10 he’s most likely a suspect.
