Alice’s dad is adorable, he’s successful, doting, and still so supportive. He probably would have been a good influence on Erina if Azami hadn’t kept all of Alice’s letters and kept Erina and Alice separated. What with Erina’s mother (haven’t seen enough episodes to memorize her name yet) leaving because of them both having the god tongue and Azami’s mania trying to save Saiba who didn’t need saving, it’s a miracle Erina turned out as well as she did

Musical Drawer Correct, even Soue was mentioned at least way back (not sure if in the anime mentioned him[?]) before finally appearing. Erina’s mother’s name or silhouette hasn’t even been foreshadowed nor mentioned, and in the manga we’re already at the greatest point of the story... Not a single time she’s mentioned; imho, I doubt Azami would even have a daughter with a ‘low-class’ chef, so she should be a well-known cuisine celebrity or at least, have lot of potential but he decided to make her keep a low profile (when the anime catches up the manga, you’ll understand the last part or if you read it, you should already know)... Or option C, the bastard was such a jerk that she took her life or got divorced :v
Edit: Btw, following ‘uncommon traits’ being inherited by children - Saiba’s red hair = Soma, Leonora’s white hair = Alice, Erina’s mom blonde hair = Erina. There can’t be a lot of blonde female known chefs, someone out there should know/recognize her similar traits with Erina. Unless Azami ruined her reputation and went into hiding, after wanting to train Erina HIS way and her wife refusing
