@@DUKEisALIVE Well, but even for competition tools they look kinda boring. There's other boutique shops here in Germany that manage to make awesome competition 2011s for a couple hundred Euros less that also look better.
You can tell this person isn't someone who owns and shoots a lot of guns. He's muzzling himself during this whole video and holding it like a Fudd. He's even putting his thumb in the muzzle! Either he's a Fudd who was never taught proper gun safety or he doesn't actually shoot guns a lot. So surprising to see this kind of gun handling from an employee of a high end German gun maker.
Europeans subscribe to a much more relaxed gun safety handling ethos than Americans. A lot of American gun safety doctrine (finger off the trigger, not flagging people) are overemphasized by shooters almost as a point of pride, whereas people from other countries might have the mindset of "well I know the gun is unloaded, I checked it before hand and it's unlikely someone snuck a bullet into the chamber... who cares what I do with it at the moment."
@@gunsngunpla Yikes. If this is the case that needs to change. Who else is over this 2011 fad? Modern Autoloaders will always be better or hell even the Beretta XI would be better than spending over 2k$ I'd get the Beretta single action over all of these 2011's
unless beretta has finally thrown the firing pin block in the trashcan on the XI you can forget ever getting a 92 trigger to be as good as a 1911/2011, or hell, a CZ for that matter i say this as someone with the 92XP which has the same trigger group as the XI minus the SAO converting trigger blade, with a full competition spring kit the trigger pulls got down to 2lbs 8oz SA and 5lbs 10oz DA but the firing pin block and its spring are holding the 92 trigger back so much by adding a whole bunch of mush, travel and weight that really doesn't belong on a competition gun or SAO gun...
The Loki sells for 3,500 Euros in Germany, the rest is just import costs and whatnot. It's still overpriced. There's other German 1911/2011 boutique shops like RBF or H.P.S. that have hand-made 2011s for around 2.600 Euros. You gotta buy these things locally, importing them in small numbers doesn't really make sense. It's the same with guns like Wilson Combat in Germany. They are like 5,000 - 6,000 Euros for the base models. It's just stupid because you pay 2,000 for the import.
