Hermosa native here, always love the rep Brad! If you want good Mexican in Hermosa, I highly recommend la paz #2. If you want something closer to the water, paisanos pizza and Scottys are cheap with great atmosphere! We have a bunch of small restaurants tucked away which the locals know about so there's never a shortage of good food. Even when the waves aren't great 95% of the time I'd say 60% of my friends go to the beach at least once every week. Not to mention the epic feud between us and the other beach cities. If you ever get the chance go to one of our arthouses like Shockboxx and Resin which are free and showcase local artists. Seriously, thanks for being the best South Bay surf youtuber!
Went tp Pier Avenue Elementary School..at that time Gregg Noll's shop was just across the 101..Jacobs was just down the street. I have a Becker..and it has been all over the world surfing..from Mexico to Costa Rica to Morocco..onto Spain and France. Wonder if the Lighthouse Jazz Club is still there. Great times on the beach..but, a different time..
