This is what a good color grading looks like. I am personally tired of Teal and Orange look that most of filmmakers use nowdays and I think it just ruins the footage. This looks absolutely amazing and very well balanced. Congrats
That’s stunning! Could you show us how exactly you do the video editing? I have absolutely no clue but would like to get into it! So far just been focused on photography
I love everything about your videos! I bought the X-H2S after discovering your channel☺I hope this doesn’t come off as weird but would you ever consider freelance work? I’m looking for someone to color grade my videos and I would love to hire you if you'd be interested! Let me know :)
Thank you so much! Yes that’s definitely something I can give a go! Drop me an email at 06cmorales@gmail.com and let me know what ideas you have and we can discuss it :)
Wow didn’t realise you had 380k subs!? Glad I inspired you! I’m no professional colourist and I’ve never really done work like this for anyone before but would love to grade your videos!
Ha, so tempted to get the 18-35mm again. Sold it because it was too heavy with my bmpcc 4k (which I finally sold and got an X-H2S). Are you using a Fringer or a Metabones?
I'm in love with your color grading, framing, edit, and such. would you be able to share with us your color grading process? im using bmpcc 6k and i would like to have color grading near this, i'm actually trying for years to get this grade but i still haven't. even if you dont have the time, still, thanks for your work ^^
Means a lot thank you! In the near future when I get the chance I’ll try and do a colour grading tutorial, although there are plenty of great videos on film emulation on here!
with atomos 12 bit or 10 bit ? I answer cause I had bmpcc 6k pro before, and I was 12 bit raw 4:4:4. and with my xh2s I need to buy this fucking atomos... lol
The colors are very nice, but the lens doesn't help you, my friend. Try a vintage lens. Any vintage lens. Sell the Sigmas / Sonys / Tamrons / Viltroxes, etc. Get a good old Helios 44, for example, or a CanonFD, or a Zeiss. Trust me :D

Love these shots.. I gotta check out your other content now lol
thank you, I appreciate that! And please do! hahah
Tell me how you paint F-log2? What lenses did you use? Thank you!
How do you convert flog2 in davInci in the color space transform? There is only an flog profile in davinci, do you use it with rec 2020?
Interesting look, gotta admit!
We need a tutorial 😮❤
🥺 that shot at 3:23!!!! Which lens did you use on the particular shot?
The sigma 18-35!
This is beautiful and I love the color grade, I have a very similar video that I have yet to post. Wales is amazing, have you visited Scotland?
thank you! yes wales is beautiful. I have been to scotland, many years ago. Hoping to go back to explore it more :)
Somebody liked Bones And All! xx
Haha yes!! a great film, loved its cinematography!
@@chiyoks Same. Nice work yourself!
@@SummersSnaps thank you eddy !

It’s a heavy set up for sure. I’m using neither, I have the cheaper 7artisans adapter
Nice! You had a tripod or is this all by hand and stabilzed later on?
Handheld and post stabilisation!

@@chiyoks thanks ^^
Such beautiful footage. Did you use a film simulation?
thank you! no i shot in f-log2
Awesome video and the colours are great as well
Thanks so much! Yeah stabilisation is good enough for me, I’d prefer to use a tripod but for run n gun it’s decent!
I used to have the 18-35mm and sold it because it was pretty heavy. Yet, I'm still debating if I shouldn't buy it again... Quite bulky, isn't it?
it is a chonky lens, and quite heavy too
Love the images you're getting with open gate. Do you feel like you miss the option for slow motion when shooting it or not really?
Thank you! I don’t think so, i don’t really shoot slow mo but if I do need it, I will just shoot in 4K
looks incredible, may i ask what aspect ratio / resolution this was exported in?
Thank you! this was exported in 4K 16:9 but recorded in 6.2k 3:2 ratio
anybody can tell me where this place is 0:35 ? i know its wales but more precisely?
Pen y fan in south wales :)
@@chiyoks thanksss
what microphone model do you use?
I use the rode wireless go
how do you grade it on davinci resolve? cine16 or something else like you do it manually
It’s a mix of my own manual edits and powergrade from serr :)
which lens do you use?🙏🏼
used the sigma 18-35 and Fuji xc 15-45
Do you use an ND filter when shooting during the day?
Yes I use the nisi true colour VND
@@chiyoks Awesome thank you :)
wait, do u use stabilizer?
Camera ibis
What is FilmVision?
Davinci powergrade :)
