I bought a house brand from Siegler Music 16 years ago. A 7-piece OSP for $400, and it is spectacular. The cymbals aren't spectacular, but at least usable unlike what you used to get included with cheap kits. Everything is double braced, and I bought a cheap double kick pedal for a hundred bucks and unleashed hell. I also bought one of their electronic 5-piece sets, and a few years later, it showed up in Musicians Friend only Alesis was stamped on it, right down to the exact same brain module lol. I'm sure these Donner kits and who knows how many name changes since come out of the same factories that made the OSP. I saw that set show up for many years with various names on it.
Definitely. And the heads I picked to replace the stock ones with are basically the polar opposite in terms of tone (Pinstripe vs Emperor). So you can kind of hear two different style heads on the kit.
Using regular practice pads always seems bittersweet. It's better than nothing, but the motions and feel are never really 1:1 with the acoustic kit. Awesome to see something that can let you be so quiet while not seeming to badly compromise the feel of the real drums
Here’s a thought, make those practice pads that raise up actual triggers, so you can turn it from an acoustic set immediately to an electronic kit!
Genius idea right here!
You totally choked out that small rack tom! The rest is great, nice demo
Sounds great, you can use rim silencers to eliminate the volume of the rims.

The innovation continues. That seems like a good option for practice and gigging
Yea I was surprised it sounded decent with the stock heads
Great playing bro. Those heads and cymbals are sweet. Definitely might have to check these out
Nice drum set. The practice mutes are a nice feature. Great sound review and demo of these drums.
Thanks!
nice souding kit for an entry level kit ...definitely better than most entry level kits ...the must are a plus as well
Thanks for another thorough review.
Sure thing! Thanks for watching!
it’s a amazing what simply new heads will change about how a drumset sounds

Nice playing broo🥁🥁💝
Thanks ✌️
Sounds really good!
Donner doing the most
Those cymbals are nice but wouldn’t they break easily with the holes??
You would think so but they actually seem like they're gonna hold up!
