@khunpan4426 There are many types of Bagoong. But the most common type is the one made with shrimps, Shrimp Paste in English. It doesn't have a very strong fishy flavor because after sauteing it we add sugar, black pepper and as much chillies as you want and cook it until the sugar has caramelized giving the Paste a Dark Brown Color. It's sweet, salty, and spicy and pairs perfectly with Unripe Philippine Mangoes. The Bagoong with the strong fishy smell and taste is the one made with small fish like dilis, and are typically gray in color. That variety is used for dipping steamed vegetables. Ofc you have to cook it also. But instead of sugar you put Calamnsi juice.

Cracking is the best potato chips, that's strong vinegary flavor, mixed with salt is just the best. I remember all my classmates back in seventh grade would get that every recess to the point where our classroom would reek of cracklings. 👌
I grew up with pavolon. it has different flavors and wheat one is my favorite! being half filipina, i havent tried all those snacks, but also live in CA and have eaten more meal meals
Mango and soy sauce is uncommon combination here in PH.😎 Perhaps she does that combo because her family and relatives do. Most of us use bagoong (shirmp paste) or salt with yellow or green mango.
TF with indian mango with soysauce? Even i seldom eat mango with bagoong, but if ginisang bagoong was good. I would definitely pick bagoong over soy sauce at any day.
I'm Filipino and i don't like mango + soy sauce as well 😂 haiyaa. it's weird and maybe just a local community thing. If anything, it's unripe mango + Bagoong or shrimp paste for the majority. Calamansi + soy sauce though is 100% grilled meat/fish dip go to.
Mango and soysauce? First time I've heard about that, actually.. normally with salt or shrimp paste.. even in street food vendors, they have it with salt or shrimp paste on the side, not with soysauce.. well, each person have their own taste anyway..
As a Hispanic-American, I was disappointed they didn't review Puto.
I recommend you to it Puto
😂 RUclips might demonetize this short
@@helbertgasconthats why puto is not in the short
Uncle Roger would like it because they have their own puto in Malaysia named Putu Bambu and Indonesia has their own named Kue Putu.
@@VanillaPeach-y7l How is it irrelevant? He would literally compare it to Putu Bambu because that's what they have in Malaysia after eating puto.

If only she did the Mango with Bagoong. I love soy sauce and sugar but Sweet and Spicy Bagoong is better 🤤
Isn't the Bagoong the one with the fishy flavor?

I'm in the Philippines now 🇵🇭 Have to agree that soy sauce on mango is not a favorite combo. All the rest, though 👍
Malaysia usually pair either
Soy sauce + sugar
Soy sauce + chilli
it’s mango and uyap … or some call it shrimp paste
It’s mango+bagoong (shrimp paste) actually that pairs well.
Filipino soy sauce is very salty so it pairs well with sour, unripe mango.
