I just found my wife’s old power shot about a month ago. I’ve been using it mainly for photos for that vintage look! It’s so fun. Might have to try out some of those crash zooms on the video after seeing this 🙌🏻🔥
the first ever camera i had was a Canon IXUS 220 HS when i was like 10 or 11. its honestly my fav cam today. the quality can actually be quite good and makes for some really nice party portraits to post on instagram
@@joeypusateri_ Standard program mode or do you mess with saturation, contrast and WB ? Just found one in my parents house and going to try diferent settings but would be nice to know in case i miss something. Nice video keep up the good work 💪
I know that your whole point of this video is that it's a neat, nifty little camera for achieving a recognisable oldschool aesthetic, but the entire video also feels like such a backhanded compliment, you go ham calling it a piece of crap and stuff lmao Not criticising btw, just found it funny, like you're talking dirty to it or something 😂 On a more serious note though, I have this camera, it was my mum's 10+ years ago and it hasn't been used in about 8 years til I found it recently. Being a 90s kid I got excited about finding a cool digital camera, I figured it would be a great alternative to my phone for basic, simple, but decent photos. I hadn't considered using it for video other than on a tripod/stable surface for static video, but you've totally opened me up to using it more creatively and playing into the oldschool/nostalgia vibe it sets I should maybe specify, my primary goal in wanting to pick the Canon over my phone (iPhone 14) isn't preference, it's that I fill up my 128gb way, way too fast if I want to actually take full advantage of the iPhone's suit of features, bells and whistles. Objectively the Cannon is a worse camera than my phone in 99% cases, maybe the canon is better for zooming in? but idk how bad old optical is vs new digital, but edge cases aside, it means I can literally give myself RSD from hitting the shutter so much without worrying about storage space the biggest drawback is I can't use my DJI gimbal as it's a phone gimbal, but ay still a neat gadget to repurpose
Cool video. This doesnt look anything like VHS camcorder footage though, it looks like hot trash from a cheap digital camera 😃 You are better off just getting an actual VHS camcorder or even a used digital camcorder for $20 rather than overpaying for a Powershot.
Love the color of that camera! It looks so vintage!
its the best!!

Any recommendations for a camera like this i can get on Amazon around the 50-60 range?
Best bet would be to find one on eBay that is Canon or Sony!
Vintage or Not, it got folks talking and watching lol
Hahaha facts
@@joeypusateri_ don’t be mad when I copy it 😂😂😂all is fair game in the RUclips world
@@RyanTrent go for it dude!
for a camera, its gotta be around 80s to be vintage, though vintage is on average 1960s and below
Any alternatives with a similar look? Can’t find it where I live
i think any older canon powershot will be a similar vibe
just avoid those like $20 cameras on amazon...
@@joeypusateri_ cool, thanks, and appreciate that you didn't make a 15 min video lol, that was refreshing
Being old, doesn't the camera go out of support for downloading photos through software?
nope, still a great workflow overall. weirdly enough the new cameras tend to sometimes be harder
Dear friends! CANON IXUS 130 and POWERSHOT A2200 and POWERSHOT A3200IS the same cameras, aren't it ?????
Not sure tbh
Thank’s for answer.
As I know, the ixus 130 is powershot a3200is , and the ixus 100 is powershot a3100is… I want to check this information.
Is there an easy way to download pics to iPhone ?
iPhone to SD reader!
Nice video, i still love to shoot with my canon SD1200IS. I have FF, APSC and M43, but this easily fits in shirt pocket.
yah man, the small size is GOATed
Lol I watched this video months ago only to remember i have the same camera in my closet.
Hahahah costs you nothing then
Cost of the camera ??
looks like theyre going for about $100ish on ebay!
can you turn off the timestamp watermark?
i dont think so, i wanted the same thing
yes you can, go to menu and it's the last setting. you can choose off, date or time/date.
I don't know man, when i see footage on old resolution all zoom in and ugly i dont find it intriguing i think it looks awful as hell.
can you get rid of the time stamp?
I don’t think so which is a bummer. I feel like there has to be a way
Were these holiday photos taken with it?
yep, everything!
Were the images from the vacation edited 👀
Very minimally
Can you remove the yellow date text from the pictures?
I don’t think so unfortunately
Yes, in the settings
What the price or that and it can make video ...thanks king
You aren’t going to find it new so the price ranges but check eBay!
no link in discription? is this because you cant buy it anywhere?
ebay is going to be your best bet unfortunately
Yeah sadly haha I really wanna get in to photos but with small smart camaera :))

У меня такая же. Время работы аккумулятора оставляет желать лучшего, но качество снимков впечатляет.
Какая модель у этой камеры, подскажите пожалуйста?
