    So, NOW you tell me! I bought 1/2 gallon of Mold Armor with the hose attachment last year,. but never "got around" to using it. I even bought a full gallon refill bottle for THIS year. When I saw the large display of 30 Seconds Cleaner at Lowe's a few weeks ago, I decided to buy 1/2 gallon with the hose attachment. I'll use that on the shady, yucky side of my house, and use the Mold Armor on my aluminum shed and the garage-type door on my portable building. Thank you for posting this comparison video!

    Under $3 for a gallon of regular bleach. Put a third of that in a 2 gallon sprayer with a few onces of Dawn dish detergent and the rest water - less than $5 tax included... that one gallon of bleach covers my little ranch house and 2.5 car garage 3X, and I guarantee it does just as good of a job.

      You do realize that the majority of siding/fence cleaners have some version of sodium. You know what those versions of sodium are? Bleach.
      Whether you’re smart or enjoy being taken advantage of, just pre rinse your landscape with water, then dilute the landscape with water again after you’re done spraying your house/fence with bleach.
      Hell, if you’re still concerned about the bleach harming your plants, you can overdo things by grabbing some random leaves, spread them out inconspicuously, them spray the landscape with some molasses to bring back the microbe/mycorrhizal population. But that’s the over paranoid option.

    I don't know how you got that large wall done with 1 bottle. I did the backside of a mobile home and was half empty and I have a flow regulator on my hose. I ran out after 2 bottles and did not complete the job. But, the area where I did cover worked great. I missed behind the down spouts and corner areas because it goes so quickly. If you don't cover enough, it will leave streaks where part is clean and part is not. So don't expect it to just run down and work, because that chemical from up top is used, so you have to apply as much fresh cleaner to every level. I'm going to paint, so a little streaking doesn't matter for my job.

    • @cguy96
      @cguy96 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@MariusNinjai is that your opinion, or is it informed by *say* some research?
      Bleach, when used properly, and in a contained environment (such a proper amount, handled carefully, diluted, and flushed down drains to a proper wastewater treatment plant) is not perfect, but it is not terrible.
      However, bleach in the environment does not biodegrade, but it does break down and is highly reactive (which is also why it is good for killing microorganisms). In water it forms (among other organo-compounds) dioxins, furans, and dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) all of which are known carcinogens and have half-lifes of several years. Dioxins in the environment is what led to the near extinction of bald eagles as well as an overall decrease in fish and bird species near large bodies of fresh water.
      Recall, it is not just bleach that is stressing the environment. I also did not call for banning bleach, I said WHEN USED the directions on the bottle should be read and followed.
      Of course, it is the manufacture of bleach (particularly sodium hypochlorite) that is the source of the majority of environmental pollutants. So, maybe considering more environmentally safe alternatives is a reasonable suggestion.

    I"m not arrogant or even a throll, and sorry in advance for my honesty. You are very very good, but always brush your teeth before doing a video. It takes away concentration on the subject when I see pieces between your teeth. Watch at 0:43. I want to see your video again.
