What a great tutorial! Do you have a pattern for your palm rejection gloves?

I drew around an old glove I had which didn’t quite fit properly because I have small hands! That way I was able to make the fingers shorter and not have flappy bits at the end of my fingers! I have considered making a free pdf of the template but I just know most people would complain it doesn’t fit them and it’s too small!!

Thank you for this! It’s hugely helpful in my SPD journey. On a side note, you must have a LOT of palm rejection gloves! 😂 Oh, are you back on instagram?

Haha! I bought a batch of swatches from spoonflower on a 48 square cheater quilt, sport Lycra and I’m slowly working my way through sewing them all into drawing gloves, because, why not 😂 I’m not back on instagram… I made this video before I left! In a few weeks time, when the scheduled ones catch up with reality, the ending will say “see you on Cara” instead 😅

Lovely tute. I had a question about your drawing glove. It appears to be your pattern. I would love to see my own drawing gloves can you tell me what fabric you used so I can order my own designs to do the same? Ive been sewing since I was 10 so I would love to have my own pattern on my drawing gloves that actually fits my very short fingers lol

Short fingers is EXACTLY why I made my own!! I was so fed up with flappy bits at the end of my fingers!!! Ok, so it’s sport Lycra from spoonflower, and I got it on a 2 yard/48 square cheater quilt which gives you 9” squares that are just big enough if you have tiny hands like me!! I used an existing drawing glove that I had to make the template, but made the fingers a bit shorter!! Let me know if you want any more info!
