- In the 1990’s there was a string of compilation VHS releases of Freddie, but this release was a strange title move because it had the same title as the 1985 TV special The Freddie Starr Comedy Express, where as this 1990 version was a compilation of sketches edited from the original 1985 TV special but also included footage edited from the following TV specials Freddie Starr On The Road 1981 & Freddie Starr At The Royalty 1984, also included are appearances with Des O’ Connor and also the performance of Vincent from London Night Out in 1983. However on a whole it’s still a great compilation to have.
That guy was brilliant. very talented with an awesome voice.
As his name says ..Star , he always be remembered as the best stand up comedian ever , he would also have been a great singer too . Thanks Freddie

Thanks for uploading this, been looking for this. Feeling emotional seeing this actually. I had this on vhs and watched this 100s of times over and over growing up, was in tears laughing at this. I wish I could go back to them times.

I truly loved Freddie singing Elvis song when you close your eyes you would actually think it was Elvis singing, my brother and I used to have tear's running down our faces when he was singing slow then fast it was absolutely hilarious my mum was always running to the toilet with that bit. you know what it's very sad that we will never see his like again, don't get me wrong there's a lot of great comedian's but Freddie was in a league all of his own, he's sadly missed by all of us but thankyou for keeping his memory alive, because who can forget the legend of Freddie Starr I can't.
RIP Freddie and I bet you will getting everyone in heaven in fits of laughter like us. 💖💖
