LOL why the fuck didn't you say that before 1:35 into the song ??? ( HEHE I thought you were playing in dropped Dcuz O-o Just kidding , man ..) It's a great riff !!! They tuned down a half step (on certain occasions and I didn't want to .....) O_O My hat is off to roy harper on this bit ... you don't need to tune down to make it happen but it's right @ the nut............... I play it E standard also and I dont shift down and play that fifth .. I stay up @ the nut and do some weird james taylor full chord nutty a7 Gmaj ish thing and let it ring ..lol like olde james taylor once said.. shower the people you want with love! :) That's the thing about this riff is .. It's right @ the nut but you don't necessarily have to drop it down a half step .............. Nice way to show it in standard.. but you did it slightly differently and went to that barre chord instead of just lifting one finger @ the nut and putting the other down in that same position one string over? rodger dodger? :) I closed my eyes and listened to your chords with my ears ... ( don't close your eyes lol ) If i recall ("correctly") one guitar was tuned down and the other was in standard in the studio ........ when they laid down this track ....... and together ..they got the tee shirts made! ;) Thanks for playing along - Kixxy ;)

LOL why the fuck didn't you say that before 1:35 into the song ??? ( HEHE I thought you were playing in dropped Dcuz O-o Just kidding , man ..) It's a great riff !!! They tuned down a half step (on certain occasions and I didn't want to .....) O_O My hat is off to roy harper on this bit ... you don't need to tune down to make it happen but it's right @ the nut...............
I play it E standard also and I dont shift down and play that fifth .. I stay up @ the nut and do some weird james taylor full chord nutty a7 Gmaj ish thing and let it ring ..lol like olde james taylor once said.. shower the people you want with love! :)
That's the thing about this riff is .. It's right @ the nut but you don't necessarily have to drop it down a half step .............. Nice way to show it in standard.. but you did it slightly differently and went to that barre chord instead of just lifting one finger @ the nut and putting the other down in that same position one string over? rodger dodger? :)
I closed my eyes and listened to your chords with my ears ... ( don't close your eyes lol )
If i recall ("correctly") one guitar was tuned down and the other was in standard in the studio ........ when they laid down this track ....... and together ..they got the tee shirts made! ;)
