Thanks for watching guys, we'll share more of these over the next few weeks and have se more in-depth looks at various weapons in use in Ukraine. Thanks for posting this Matt, I’d be interested to see if anyone has posted a version with English subtitles. Incidentally, 1kg warhead doesn’t seem much, but that’s equivalent to a 40mm cannon shell (or ten 20mm)
I'm hoping that RUclips will offer closed captions translation for it. I'd have machine translated it myself but probably wouldn't have done it justice either. If anyone wants to do a translation I'll happily add it! As always, thanks for watching mate. I know, it's apparently enough to do the job!

I believe the theory is that you fix the aircraft in the top reticle to gain radar lock, and then drop it down (raising the missile) with a lead before firing.
It's because it has an eject motor that kicks the missile out of the tube where a lanyard is attached to the eject motor that ignites the two stage solid fuel rocket as it falls back down to earth. You don't want that rocket burning as it flies off your shoulder.
For a "pretty good" (sometimes imprecise) translation of videos in foreign language you can use RUclips itself. RUclips automatically generates a transcript of recognized speech from the audio feed. Just open the video on RUclips website in desktop mode, activate the subtitles, then you can activate auto-translation of the auto-generated transcript. 2 more tips: -Always use English as output. Since it's the more used language in the world, it has the highest accuracy in translation. -The more you shift toward eastern languages, the less accurate it becomes. Chinese and Japanese translations have more issues than neolatin languages. Russian or Ukrainian should be pretty fine. A good way also for following local news feeds from Russia and Ukraine.
0:17 Could someone give me some reliable sources about the Stinger's maximum range (and *minimum* altitude, if possible)? Because every sources that I've found states that Polish PPZR Piorun MANPADS had longer range (interception range - 6.5 km, detection range - over 8 km) than the Stinger. And I haven't found any good sources for Stinger's minimum altitude, which is another very important parameter.
It will fly for 45 seconds before it self destructs unless it hits a target or comes close to hitting a target. So if it's doing twice the speed of sound it can be figured out
If they can make a basic video for the javelin that would be sick, I never got to fire one when I was in the Marines, and would like to help should this spill out of control, and knowing how to use a javelin is incredibly useful
Running out of troops has always been the worst nightmare especially when fighting a losing war. No matter how much aid is sent, you need troops to use that aid. Manpower is so short that men are being dragged off the streets, those abroad will lose their passports if they don't return asap, and Zelenskyy is even considering conscripting women to make up the shortfall in men although it won't be called conscription as Zelenskyy will use a nice euphemism instead, but it will be conscription. Meanwhile in Russia the country is fully behind their leader and the whole country is on a war footing, churning out arms and vehicles. Any shortfall in either, then their partner China provides. The are both cooperating with each other and have a military treaty if anyone of them is attacked the other will join in. Zelenskyy has been terribly let down by the west including NATO. Here in Great Britain with our 70,000 troops we are threatening Russia, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
what are you showing these STNGER in Ukraine ???? They are currently worth as much as the Soviet STRIEŁ 2 ..the Germans stated that they prefer to give away 2,700 stored sets for free, just to avoid the high costs of disposal and, on a good day, 1/3 is suitable for the trash, because it can kill the shooter during the shot. The Americans themselves get rid of the old Stinger for the Polish PIORUN which it has purchased several hundred because it is probably the best anti-aircraft launcher in the world. The Ukrainians themselves found a very high effectiveness
This video must be taken off because if any of these weapons get in the wrong hands, they can use it for training. Needles to say this weapon can hit civilian airliners.

Interesting, I didn't realize the sights were designed for raising and leading the Stinger against laterally moving targets.
