Mr Tushar Water in the drip tray is never meant for boiling, rather if it is colder than the cooking plate only then if the fat comes out from the veg or non veg food it directly falls into the water in the drip tray thus not creating extra smoke in the kitchen because fat now is not getting burnt during bbq. So brother concept is smokeless bbq for indoor cooking which it does. Any further question pl do clear.

It does not work on gas ... the water container never gets heated... not good

Not good,no difference between ordinary tva or this gas tandoor
