@@lopa-u9f MP has always blown me away with how organic and loose he plays, even when playing really technical stuff.
It think what really proved it was when he played the hello kitty and Pokémon kits!
The same with guitar and bass - it's all in the fingers!
This guitar solo gave me chills every time .. took me to another part of world got me crying for no reason ….

@@Revenant4k I knew it! I saw him and thought he looks like Charlie from Haken, but wanted to be sure! How cool is that having he and Rudess play together. Never heard of Joe. Does he sing in another band?
@@halestormtv Joe sang with the Enid, and has been solo now for quite a few years. I first saw him on the Dust tour, and his voice blew me away, as well as his stage presence. He's worked with Jordan Rudess recently which is how he got to CTTE.
James is iconic but can we please replace him with this guy? 😂

i dont understand a comment like this here. this is clearly a one off thing, probably even unrehearsed. petrucci wrote the thing. of course the writer/composer will play it better with his own mark/stamp. charlie is a monster player as haken is a monster band. i dont think petrucci could play some of charlies riffs

@@shaunsteele6926 yes, his voice is more pleasant than James' voice nowadays, but his execution doesn't fit the song. he can't stop syncopating and adding blues licks and trillers to his lines. yeah the style of the song is sort of gospel-ish, but the lead vocal line isn't like that.
