You're gonna crush it with all that positivity and support from the family and your community. All the best out to you and your family's new home in Vegas!
So, in the description you ask what would we like to see and I don’t know about other people but personally instead of the usual ‘day in the life’ type of video, I’d love to see a single video that covers your typical week. Yeah it’s great to see how you structure a day around your training but it would be much more relevant to see how your whole week goes. I don’t mean every hour of every day but I’d like to see what your whole weeks training plan looks like and how you fit in the other stuff you do too. Personally I struggle with fitting in sessions around work due to the fact that my work very irregular hours and days as we run our own small business so I often feel demotivated
Every upload is high quality. When I saw the update about London I knew that had to hurt. But now you got your family with you and life is only going to keep getting better. Keep pushing the content! Anything you’re willing to post I’m going to watch 😂
Gutted to hear about your trip over here. So sorry that happened. Hope you make it to Reno, or the one after, in great shape. 100% loving the content and great to see your subs rising quickly. Keep up the great work both of you. How about doing some series on things, like over on RP. A technique series would be good. Deep dive into 3 exercises per body part or something. Also do something for people training only at home (me), with some more limited equipment choices.
Cardinal athlete rule (for all types of competition) DONT EVER i troduce new foods the week of competition!!!! Bro! I’m glad to hear you’re going to do another show though! Interested to hear how Carol did too.
Jared, your training is always so precise and controlled. Granted, you're in the middle of multiple preps but even in the off season- Do you ever have days where you're hyped up? Do you lean into it or make a point of control that emotion too?
I'm always hyped. That's the secret. I learned to control it and focus on what needs to be done. It's channeled into the technique rather than an outward burst of sporadic energy
Wild idea to help with GI issues, I recommend pickle juice. That shit will (literally & figuratively) help clean you out, but it won't kill your electrolyte balance / won't make you look distanded. Try that out. Love the content brother!
Welcome back. I've been looking at changing up my back routine a bit, so this vid came at a great time. Also, RP branded versa gripps?! Those available anywhere? Mine are over a decade old so looking to replace soon.
Don’t want to answer for Jared but I got a pair from Nick Shaw recently and someone also asked if they would be sold, and he said they will be available at Mr Olympia at the Versa Gripps booth (with Mike and Jared) and then sold online a week after that.
Love the videos, guys! Quick question: I'm doing a cut, and the RP Diet app regularly cuts my macros each week, so im having to cut my loads on my lifts. Is that ok? Am I doing something wrong? Or is it good as long as I'm getting a good stimulus and getting sore?
That’s interesting. Have u experimented with how bent-over you are? Personally, BB rows sometimes hurt my lower back during the set if I go below 90°, so I stay just above that. It might help you too 🤷
Idk if you’ll see this but I just competed Saturday. I didn’t go crazy on food after my show but the food I have ate has caused bad acid reflux and my belly to feel extended and filled with gas. I’m sure I just need to down more water correct?
I trained back and biceps yesterday and it took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. I know I’m doing too much volume but if I don’t do like 20-30 sets I feel like I didn’t train hard enough. I train 5-6 days a week push, pull, legs and I’m hitting like 50-60 sets per muscle group per week. I’m also not sure what constitutes a warm up set versus a working set. I did 2 lat pull down variations, 3 rowing movements, lat prayers and deadlifts. Any advice on how to cut down on volume but not feel like I’m cheating myself out of a good workout?
@JAREDFEATHERRP it's an inverted row. I set it up with the bar at the same height as an incline bench, stand in front of the bar, grab with narrow bench width, walk forward and lean back holding onto the bar, then pull my chest to the bar. It's not loadable, but I'm able to get a deep stretch before pulling my chest towards the bar. The height of the bar changes the difficulty similar to standing skull crushers dr. Mike did a few videos ago.
Can a lat prayer be done on a incline bench? I'm disabled and in a wheelchair so unable to do them standing. Just curious to hear your thoughts on this. Obviously you would still get a tremendous stretch under load. But might have to be a partial.
i feel like if you can do them in a way that feels stable with similar biomechanics and good subjective sfr its probably a decent shot. if you are lying prone on the bench i might try dual ropes or daisy chain if the straight bar bumps into shit. or just keep it simple and keep progressing the pulldowns and tucked elbow chest supported rows
Whats the correlation of the training style and the bodybuilding competition results? Is this evidence that this style is inferior? Love the work you and Mike do but just trying to figure out if this type of style is better for hypertrophy
@Jay-mi6qj dude. What? Lmao. You should describe "this style" vs whatever other "style" You seem to think exists..... this is not a style. We apply sports science to our training and others (including top guys in the industry......) EVERY guy at the top is applying similar. The camp stuff is quite weird to me. The lack of conceptualizing what we all collectivley promote is weird to me tbh.
Why ever lift heavy, if pre-exhausting a muscle and lifting lighter provides the same benefit? #1. You should never lift heavy, because pre-exhausting provides all benefits, and no downsides. #2. Heavy mechanical tension is required to build the physique you want. Which is it?
Copy pasting from other comment I made: Don’t want to answer for Jared but I got a pair from Nick Shaw recently and someone also asked if they would be sold, and he said they will be available at Mr Olympia at the Versa Gripps booth (with Mike and Jared) and then sold online a week after that.
Hey Jared! Any advice on having symmetry with the pec delt tie in? My right side looks more impressive than my left. I realized the left pec muscle was much more tighter and have been working on flexibility/mobility.
Always trying to watch your videos before going to the gym. I'm glad you share things that go wrong, most don't do that. Off topic but you should try the new f30i CPAP mask. I'm a respiratory therapist and patients have had the best outcomes from that mask.
Have you actually been watching ANY of his videos or recent RP channel? The son thing is an old joke and Mike has stated numerous times in their videos. Abovel Aaaaaaall the amazing knowledge he is passing on, is that all you care about?
You're gonna crush it with all that positivity and support from the family and your community. All the best out to you and your family's new home in Vegas!

Jared looking freaky as usual
Bent over barbell rows always hurt my lower back.

Mario & Jared is like Bron & Wade 🤌🏽

More water. Tumeric seems to aid in the am. Take an otc acid reflux med a couple of days. And if you are enhanced come off all the orals.
mario learned a lot from jared

I've been wondering... Could one do the flexion rows with dumbbells instead of a barbell?
🔥🔥🔥
Saw Dr Mike recently say to come up higher on those rows. Anyone else see that?
Would aussie rows hit the back same way as the rows you did? My lower back is not a fan of the bent over row positioning.
Idk what those are

Do the late prayers serve the same function as a Natulos pullover machine?
