This was the year that the Holden drivers took turns to hit Lowndes at Philip Island so Rick Kelly w=beat him to the championship. The nearest I've ever seen the tactics from the DTM get into the Australian Touring Car series.
What happened at Phillip Island was totally fucked, Garth Tander is remembered for the part he played and was pretty proud of it, what a cock. When Rick became a bowling ball and took out Lowndes it robbed us of what could have been a good bit of entertainment. I don’t think it was quite the same on Scotty but they were hanging up on him.
That’s why I’d like for the newer gen3 Supercars to have an upward curvature of the front splitter so the chances of it delaminating significantly diminish. It would stop pit crews having to change front splitters so often.

It was 2003 when Russell Ingall was co driver with Marcos Ambrose, anyway Russell went off after a pit stop brake pad change, and did not pump up the brakes, gets to turn one and went off, hence why they went three laps down, bugger it all. Russell Ingall SHOULD have known BETTER it is Not as though he is inexperienced.
