Jimmy, amazing collection of Rolex’s! Your enthusiasm, passion, aptitude, and knowledge set’s you on another level of collecting! The way you handle your watches, with care and discretion! Seen many collectors on RUclips, set their watches with bracelet and case flat vertically up, scratching the back case and bracelet profoundly! You lay your’s slanted at 70 degree angle on the case at the 9’clock position, which preserves the complete beauty and originality of the Watch! Great Job, Jimmy!
Thanks so much Simon, I am guilty of laying my vintage stuff flat but I do it gently and not often plus they were already pre scratched 😁 Take care and thanks for watching friend.
Thanks mate, the strap was one of those random finds so I got lucky especially as it fits so well. You may get lucky through eBay or Instagram Good luck
That was great, Jimmy. Absolute pleasure seeing each piece and hearing the story behind them. You've curated a phenomenal collection, very inspiring! Love that you've extended the hobby to the rest of the family as well. Hope you get your new LV soon! It's 50% of my current 2-watch lineup (126610LV + PAM 111), and is my daily driver. Surprisingly got the call for it while waiting for a 124060. Both killer pieces!
Thanks mate you’re very kind 🙏🏻 Great to hear you daily your sub, best daily wearer out there in my opinion. As for Panerai I had a pam372, loved it and wore it a lot then foolishly traded it 🤦🏼♂️ you live you learn. Take care friend
Beautiful collection, jimmy. A bit of everything. We share similar tastes in collecting. Im looking to get another vintage tudor sub after stupidly selling two in the past! Ah well, we live and learn! All the best
Ever considered a yachtmaster 40mm? I have not long got the slate dial and god i love it. Its took me by suprise how much i wear and love it over my GMTs and subs
@@jimmysplit7729 ah thats what I’ve got. It’s seriously stunning in the flesh - got the Rolex DNA we all know and love when you glance at it but is refreshingly different. I only waited 3 weeks for mine..then 2 weeks later was phoned by another AD and offered one! What are the odds. Was just gutted it was one I already had and not something new I’ve been waiting for! Love it though hope you get yours soon, the blue really sets the dial off.
What an absolutely outstanding collection Jimmy. Wonderful to see and thank you for sharing it with us 🙏👏 🙌 If you ever want to sell that 1966 GMT, you know where I am 😁
I didn’t realize all this time you had so many insane pieces (vintage and modern) tucked away! Maybe my favorite collection I’ve seen in a while, brilliant. Best part was when you mentioned wanting a Cermit so you’d have something to rotate meanwhile all those watches sitting in front of you😂 I completely get it🙏
Very nice collection, Jimmy. I’m still enjoying all my Tudors here. I have the bronze like your brother’s, from 2016. I’m only 62 now and waiting on my very first Rolex! The Submariner ref. 126610LV. Waiting for the AD to let me know. Could be another year before I get it.
What's next for your collecting journey? And what do you think about Rolex re-releasing the Paul Newman dial "Le Mans" in white gold? Amazing collecting mate
My collecting has slowed down as I carefully consider my next piece I take my time choosing the complication, case size and aesthetic plus dial colour and texture. This applies mainly to Patek as I’m trying to develop a unique and diverse collection of Patek’s. As for the new Daytona I hope to get one🤞🏻 Thanks mate

@@jimmysplit7729 I have a Datejust i bought 1974 two tone silver linen dial for my 21 birthday.
Wow!! Low key Jelly, but thank you for sharing, what an amazing collection you acquired!
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing Jimmy! Any plans to add a two-tone Submariner? If so, the traditional black dial or the popping bluesy?
Awesome collection love every piece,
Thanks very much!
Wow the vintage pieces are simply stunning.
Thanks Rob

This is the craziest collection of watches I've ever seen on the internet I'd be the same way if I could
Great video mate!! Love the watches. Beautiful. Where can I pick up that strap on the Tudor? Any tips?

Ah ok thank you. But what brand is it? Is it a Rolex strap? I’ll hunt for one

Hi Jimmy, excellent as always. Question: On your 6265, are they the original pushers?
They look to be replacements as far as my knowledge goes
All in great condition jimmy! I got my first Rolex a week ago date just Wimbledon dial 41 stainless
