- Lil Guardsman is newly released indie game from Hilltop Studios, and it promises to be a comedic take on Papers Please! Save Data Team sat down to play it during the recent Steam Next Fest demo and we absolutely loved it! So we had to check out the full release! From incredibly funny dialogue, to on-point voice acting, and an adorable art style, this is definitely an indie game we have had on our list to check out, and now it's finally here! I'm still surprised with the Eggs, oil and lemon joke, I feel is such a deep cut, since it's somewhat of a bilingual joke (Spanish and English specifically)
Because as I said (And felt like I explained it poorly in that donation), the lyrics "We're not gonna take it" in Spanish can be misheard as "Huevos con aceite" and the lyrics "Anymore" is where the word lemon: "Y Limón", comes in.
But anyways, it was such a fun stream! I'm looking forward for the next one with this game, is so gooood.
I looked it up after the stream and I was flabbergasted at how much of a deep cut the joke is. There has to be a spanish speaking ESL person on the team who wrote that joke because it’s so good

I'm only at 5:30 as of writing this comment, but immediately, simultaneously one of the cutest and funniest intros to a game I've ever seen, probably rivaled only by Night in the Woods

It's the thing where this game is so tough because I'd love to hear all the dialogue they have in it, because it's genuinely so good! But we also don't want to spend the stream rewinding constantly to see stuff.
