Nate and Sutton, please, please enjoy the time when they’re little and cherish it! Soon they’ll be teenagers and they will keep you so very busy in ways you don’t have any control over, and you may be exhausted trying to keep up!
I have triplets in 9th grade who are in marching band for 15 hours a week AFTER school, plus all football games, and our high school is six miles away, plus I work full time, commuting for over a half hour there and a half hour back. In addition, they compete every Saturday and are gone until late at night! Not to even mention the crazy hours they study to keep an A average! AND, this Veteran’s Day, their marching band is requiring them to be at practice for seven hours!
So, please enjoy this special time when they are little, when YOU make their schedule and decide on their activities!!!
