Thanks for the info i need to do this soon to my mazda and i did not know for sure if i needed to do anything with the suspension or breaks to do it and ur video answered all my questions alright time to get greasy now thanks
Replaced my drivers side with a TRQ brand and couple months later it has slop in the inner cv. Clicking from park to reverse. Reverse to drive. Found an oem one on eBay. If it fails I’ll re grease and re boot
@Steven Solis Heard a bad rep about those. But that's the thing, they don't have OEM for resale anymore. And most aftermarket are horrible and don't last even a year before vibration and such starts again. I bought new a brand called Cardone for a little more pricey hoping for better quality but was mistaken. Vibration started within 6 months.
Is there any difference between automatic transmission and manual transmission front cv axle? by mistake ordered for manual transmission and I have an automatic transmission the driver side is a little short and passenger side a little too long
You need to show how to do every step. For someone who doesn't know how to let's say take the brake caliper off how do they know what you are talking about?
@yaboiiibarloz1919 I never said i didn't know what a caliper is. Did you even read the comment or just thought you would use your smart mouth without thinking again? For someone who doesn't know what they are doing it could be confusing. That's all. Good job
@ Hence why i said if i wasn’t assuming it was you if the viewer is watching and read something as stupid as this they will most likely follow thats why i said to just look it up. But i forget common sense isnt common for everyone including you

I see you struggled to get the passenger axle in, what did you end up doing? I don’t want to damage mine and it’s not cooperating
Love the Top Gun Mug.
How are the cv axles on the Mazda 3? Did they last more than 6 months? Urgent!

What size of adapter did you use on the slide hammer? Trying to find one that fits my mazda 3
Hello when you install cv joint into transmission should clip be at the top or the bottom ?
What brand of CV axles did you use on the Mazda?
Did you replace yours recently?
@@trevorsweet5149 I replaced mine 2 years ago used Track Motive. I am going back to OE.

Yup. They're 2 different ones. One for auto trans and one for the 5 speed. I believe the 2.3 and 2.0 are also different but not positive.
@@GesWho1904 Thank you very much I really appreciate that you responded

If you don’t know what a brake caliper is just look it up if not you shouldn’t be working on cars it ain’t rocket science

1 you're cheating with the axle removal tool, 2 you didn't change the output shaft seal on the drivers side
is it cheating to also use a power tool to remove the other bolts?
This video sucks does not show how to install it in to the transmission
It's for the CV
How do you know what torque you're putting on bolts when using an impact?
I know that on the 3rd setting it will do around 95 lb/ft, 2nd setting around 80 lb/ft. It's just an estimate really.
