You kind of blew by the e-brake steel bar that goes In between the brake shoes under the cylinder. It has a front and rear as well as a side to side. What is the trick to figuring out how that installs. My 67 Buick was missing this part. Can you help as I fear I installed it wrong because I now have an intermittent thumping when I apply my brakes. Thanks.

I’m getting ready to do the same job on my 2013 3. Most motor mounts I seen online have only the insert and others come with the bracket. Would you recommend swapping out the two pieces(bracket & mount) or only the rubber insert? I’m at 176k miles

thank Goodness for Hondas and their non idiot engineers...10 mins to change my radiator...This mazda you have to dismantle the whole car..Well thought out...even have to drain AC on some models...😂

Hello when you install cv joint into transmission should clip be at the top or the bottom ?

Just wanna throw this out there....if you're adjusting the ignition switch which it bolts up with the high beam switch under the dash...make note of where those wee little bolts n nuts go also. I lost one of them removing the ignition switch and i had a heck of a time finding a replacement 😬

So what does that mean the ticking sound

I just bought a 1993 Cadillac Coupe deVille from Copart in Martinez, California for $225 and it was a family donation. It has 89,152 miles and runs like new. I will need to reupholster both front seats. The hood release is under the grille on the 1993 only.

I just had a mobile mechanic give me a quote of $350 to put these on. That's pretty high right? I already have the parts.

@14:06 you can unbolt the TCU under the mount from the transmission and mount it to the stud on the firewall to reduce vibration. This was a recommended modification from a TCU rebuilder to prolong the integrity of the TCU circuit boards

Just installed my valve cover and road tested it. This video saved me a huge headache. It never even occurred to me to try pulling out the dip stick with the engine running. That's totally worth a sub.

Thanks brother, I can't wait to see how bad my rear engine mount looks after being hidden under all that stuff for 15 years. I agree too, these cars really just need basic maintenance to keep on chugging, never had an actual problem with the engine, transmission, or anything else that would be too hard for me to fix.

The switch on my truck it does the clicking noise, but when i tried to used my high beams cuts the power and all 4 lights go off. :(

Replaced my drivers side with a TRQ brand and couple months later it has slop in the inner cv. Clicking from park to reverse. Reverse to drive. Found an oem one on eBay. If it fails I’ll re grease and re boot

Love how you auto-corrected before wifey gives ya heck for that "so that she stops backing into stuff" comment lol. Although they are rust-prone, I think I will hold on to my Mazda 3 BK for much longer. I have not found anything modern as reliable with 4 doors that looks so happy, drives so freely, handles in such a lightweight manner and lets you feel the drive. Newer SUVs have nicer interiors but horrible driving dynamics--my wife had to use a rental 2023 Escape and she avoided driving it subsequently after driving it once--preferring to drive my smaller Mazda instead. We both realized how much we absolutely hated stuff like auto-engine off, lane keep assist, a stupid knob for selecting gears, a button instead of a parking brake lever, and the general heft and lacklustre acceleration of these newer bigger cars. That experience plus your video have inspired me to work on a hunny-do list for our Mazda 3 as well. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions.

Hey 👋 I’m curious of what kind tool you used to reach those tight places ?! I know it’s a 5/8 socket. Did you use a swivel ?! I attempted to do my 86 4.1 the other day, and it was a fail for me. I was able to reach but not get a good grip. What a headache. I also refuse to get under the car to do it. I fear that 😂

My dad always told me after you put new bolts on a whole new muffler system all the clamp boats stay heat up loosen up so you gotta get back on there later on and tighten them up some more couple hours later day two days later

They are so easy to put on that’s why I like little cars or seller if they are so easy to work on got plenty of worm

Yeah, I said I once I think on here on route 40 and Baltimore, Maryland muffler shop put a supposed to put a Cadillac converter on my Chevrolet 2011 $1400. He put a straight pipe put a Cadillac converter on it for five years I did not know it didn’t have one. I didn’t have one freakingbroke down and Cadillac murder new manifold the whole pipe Gary put it on soon. It rain stop rain rain rain.

Yeah, I might have to put in the shop to put a new Cadillac converter 14 fucking hundred dollar I pay for him to put a new Cadillac converter. I didn’t look under shadow because he put a straight pipe instead of a Cadillac and goes to show you all your shops.

Thanks for the help! NO instructions with mine. :P How about using some heavy-duty thread, in an appropriate color, at the front corner to pull the side and front together neatly using a hidden fold? Not tight but snug so there's little to no stress on the fabric nor thread. Could also use stick-on Velcro dots to hold it to the seat wherever you wanted. I'd also suggest you sit at each side, preferably with a helper, to be sure that whatever method you employ won't be stressed by the weight and position of a person or big doggy buddy. ;)

Great video. My kids Eldorado was having a rough idle condition and poor acceleration right off idle. I had no vacuum coming off the solenoid and found the elbows rotted that connect the hose from the throttle body to the solenoid. Also tested the EGR and that was bad.

I had an 86 Seville and the dash and climate control would come on and off. Eventually they went off. I discovered that there is a power supply circuit board that shorts. It's above the gas pedal to the right. I took it out and re-soldered it and everything worked again.

you need to find the circuit board under the dash and solder it again and then your driver's control centre will stay on
