As for Skye, she does that to people on a daily basis. it's beautiful and very rewarding when it all comes together.
Do not rush back to us, take your time, recover, we will wait. It will be worth it even if you do not post anything for longer time. Your eyes give you ability to see all those beautiful places and take breathtaking photos. So take care of them. I am not landscaper, never was, probably never will but I follow your videos because your enthusiasm about what you do and what you show makes me inspired with a genre that is so far from photographing nature as it could be I think. Hey Henry. About ten years ago I had emergency surgery for a detached retina (no injury...it just happened). It helped me decide to retire two years earlier than planned because I loved photographing nature so much as a hobby. Surgery went great, eyes are fine. Good luck with your surgery. It will go fine and then you don't have to be anxious about it anymore. All 71,000+ of your subscribers will be in the waiting room, in spirit! Oh, before I forget, yet another premo photography video. Love your soulful appreciation of such beautiful sights!

But your disciplined gift is key to all of us. You have so much more yet to do! Your drone "B" Roll is as beautiful as your photos. I am one who, at 70 now, shall always ring like a chapel bell to creation's beauty captured by you. What you do for us all is "huge." And paradoxically I pray you find true rest in that as an established fact!!!

As someone who has been through quite a few surgeries, the medical establishment has come leaps and bounds from where it was when I had my first one. I hope it goes well and sending healing prayers down the wavelengths.

IMHO it is second only to the Faroe Isles, the shot of the Fairy Pools with the gully mountain in the background is, as you say, terrifying when you are there in person, very atmospheric images well done lad. I had a hip replacement 3 years ago, had only been in hospital once before in my life, was dreading it, in on the Monday, hip done that morning, out of hospital on the Wednesday. The NHS really are a wonderful institution which should be protected no matter what.
Absolutely agree 100% but most of the NHS has already been sold off to American style private health enterprises. Even my GP practice is now owned by a private US firm. Ten years from now it will be 100% privatised with a US health insurance style system. Blame all the right wing neoliberals, including Blair! People should be out on the streets but alas here we are perpetually distracted by our phones. Glad you got your op.

I was up in the Isle of Skye at the end of April/early May. Went to the fairy pools nice and early to avoid crowds, but by the time I had got halfway along and been stopping to take photos, lots of other people had got ahead of me and could not get decent pictures. Will try again one day. Good luck with the op.

Henry, I’m predominantly a Street Photographer but have always enjoyed Land/Seascapes but since I’ve had my Fuji XT3 I feel like I’m going backwards, I found I had better luck with my entry level Canon DSLR. Thing is, I can’t afford to change systems just yet, I will do, but like with most at the minute, budget is just too tight so I’m just going to keep trying, using what I have, much better than giving up anyway. Hoping to visit Bempton Cliffs this weekend as we’re camping about 35 miles inland from there, Yapham, Pocklington near York, 4/5 months ago I’d never heard ofYapham or Pocklington, I only know now as the campsite is called Yapham Molds. We bought a tent after thinking our camping days were long behind us, we stopped around 10-12 years ago as my health would rarely allow me to help my wife with the tent, now we’ve a much larger tent but with inflatable poles, so much easier my wife can do it herself, not that I won’t help when able and I’ve got to do the guidelines etc anyway. The decision to buy one came when we priced up just my medical travel insurance for a week in Tenerife, asking anywhere between £350-£700, now I’m under investigations for other issues no one will even give me a quote, already used it once and at £20 for two nights you can’t beat it for a trial run, that was the other side of York, more Filey side, I just hope I get some pics this time but we’ll see. Next stop, Glencoe hopefully.
Genuinely, I think those last 2 shots are my favourites of anything I’ve seen of yours- I can’t even tell you how much I love them! Another inspiring video, that makes me want to grab my bag & head out- even though it’s half 11 at night & chucking it down!!

I have recently just started to take photos with my late younger brothers professional camera, which we lost in June as he adored taking photographs before his brain tumour too over his abilities to move. And I want to keep doing this in memory of him. Your videos are so inspirational and you have great enthusiasm and humour 😊 you’re are also in my most favourite place in the world Isle of Skye which I spent with my late husband which I also lost last year, your shot of the Cullins mountain range from Elgol is where we sat on our honeymoon. I can’t wait to get out and about using your guided techniques to take some awesome photographs as I’ve learnt so much in just two weeks! 😮 your photographs have so much emotion and drama to them and are amazing.

As far as your surgery goes, I’m sure everything will be fine, I had to have an eye OP a few years ago, and now have 17 titanium coils behind one eye, you’d never know, and it hasn’t affected my Photography at all ……… I’m still crap! 😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was up in the Isle of Skye at the end of April/early May. Went to the fairy pools nice and early to avoid crowds, but by the time I had got halfway along and been stopping to take photos, lots of other people had got ahead of me and could not get decent pictures. Will try again one day. Good luck with the op.

Henry, I’m predominantly a Street Photographer but have always enjoyed Land/Seascapes but since I’ve had my Fuji XT3 I feel like I’m going backwards, I found I had better luck with my entry level Canon DSLR. Thing is, I can’t afford to change systems just yet, I will do, but like with most at the minute, budget is just too tight so I’m just going to keep trying, using what I have, much better than giving up anyway.
Hoping to visit Bempton Cliffs this weekend as we’re camping about 35 miles inland from there, Yapham, Pocklington near York, 4/5 months ago I’d never heard ofYapham or Pocklington, I only know now as the campsite is called Yapham Molds. We bought a tent after thinking our camping days were long behind us, we stopped around 10-12 years ago as my health would rarely allow me to help my wife with the tent, now we’ve a much larger tent but with inflatable poles, so much easier my wife can do it herself, not that I won’t help when able and I’ve got to do the guidelines etc anyway. The decision to buy one came when we priced up just my medical travel insurance for a week in Tenerife, asking anywhere between £350-£700, now I’m under investigations for other issues no one will even give me a quote, already used it once and at £20 for two nights you can’t beat it for a trial run, that was the other side of York, more Filey side, I just hope I get some pics this time but we’ll see.
Next stop, Glencoe hopefully.

That mountain pano with the "puddles" was awesome! Loved it! The 2nd shot with the falls was insane though! Your buzz about the locations is so infectious! Weirdly, I was thinking about your eye op the other day when watching another one of your videos and I thought "He must have had it done by now" but there we go! Hope all that goes well mate.

Great video Henry. Skye is special to me. I’m actually just editing scans of images from there taken in 1989! I do like how you did the Fairy Pools area at night. When I was there it was way too busy. By the way, I don’t recognise the second location. Any chance you could give me a clue (DM me if you don’t want to go public). I have recently just started to take photos with my late younger brothers professional camera, which we lost in June as he adored taking photographs before his brain tumour too over his abilities to move. And I want to keep doing this in memory of him. Your videos are so inspirational and you have great enthusiasm and humour 😊 you’re are also in my most favourite place in the world Isle of Skye which I spent with my late husband which I also lost last year, your shot of the Cullins mountain range from Elgol is where we sat on our honeymoon. I can’t wait to get out and about using your guided techniques to take some awesome photographs as I’ve learnt so much in just two weeks! 😮 your photographs have so much emotion and drama to them and are amazing.
