Older dogs were wiser kinder and more gentle Bradley you ran my prayers for a new home and a new wonderful family to love you. You have many years to look forward to

I adopt senior dogs. I have been doing it for about 20 years. I rescued two a couple of years ago. I just lost the love of my life to hip dysplasia. Once they know they are safe and have a forever home, they will love you unconditionally❤. I have my two best friends with me as I type this comment. I adopted these two from a shelter that got them from the family of a decreased father and they wanted nothing to do with them. I am glad they gave them up. They were in poor health, neglected and there were signs of abuse. They are safe with me. I will always protect and provide for them. I pray Brady finds a loving forever home soon. Florida is a long drive for me, but you never know.
Please, God send Bradley a forever home as I watch with endless tears streaming down my face. Dogs love unconditionally and how I wish I could take him home.
Even though you can't take him home, your viewing of the video helps push it to someone else who could. It's the magic of social media. We don't monetize and there's nothing to buy. But by watching as a community, we'll get all the dogs like Bradly adopted. 🐾🏡❤️
Bradley looks terrified when the door to his cage is locked. He's used to running free. How could his family abandon such a beautiful, loving dog? Hope he finds the loving home he deserves.

If I had ANY way to get Bradley here North of Seattle, I would in a heartbeat. I'm retired and live on a large fenced property with a duck pond and creek. Bradley, please know how very special you are and you ARE loved by millions of humans around the world. Especially by me. I pray someone makes you the amazing family member we all know you can be. Love you sweet boy {{{♡}}} Sobbing in Seattle.
I know. It's sad. And I'm sorry you lost your boxer. They find a way to dig into our hearts that other people can't understand. You know, it is possible. Fly to Key West and then rent a car one-way back to Seattle. It would be the adventure of a lifetime...for both of you!
Please get courageous and think about doing what TakingPaws_media tells you. I myself would do it, if only there wouldn't be so many miles between Sao Paulo and Florida. Me too I had a wonderful boxer, whom I lost by poison that someone threw over the fence. Good luck to you, think about it.

I ran around with him in that big room for an hour until I needed to rest! Then he came over and laid next to me. I have two dogs found on the streets. They are now 13.5 & 11.5 years old. I’m 73 and live alone. Yes, sometimes taking care of them is tiring but goodness, I could never give up my fur babies. They are my family. I pray Bradley finds a good human to live out the rest of his years with. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I don’t believe they ever loved this pup. So many of us would give anything to hold ours again for one more moment. 15 years? Owners pray to god for 12. We start counting down the moment we see them, already knowing our time is far too short. To leave him after 15 years…they didn’t love him. We stay to the bitter, painful end because we cannot bear the thought of them being alone at the end. How do you abandon the one soul on this earth that loved you more than itself? It makes me sick and it makes me cry to think of how they would treat a human they deemed worthless. They’d do the same. If my spouse or child told me to get rid of our pets, it would be them left at a bus station. To abandon this pup when he’s heading into sunset and needs them. This is how they thank him. I just can’t.
While we don’t know the full story, I know that I would move mountains before I’d let a dog of mine be given up. The only thing I do know is that Bradley didn’t do anything wrong like get into fights, destroy things, or anything else. And just watching him, you can tell he’s a chill, happy dog.
As someone who has worked in a shelter for many years and have done my share of judging others, there are situations beyond the control of people forcing them to give up their animal. It can look like a heartless move but I have seen firsthand many times the emotional toll it can take on families and individuals.

Please somebody, adopt this 15 year old dog, Bradley. Don’t let him die in a cold, lonely shelter. His family turned him to the shelter at this age. Who does that? Please share!🥲💔
You’re right! He’s such a chill dog willing to just walk along to be part of anything his person is doing. He really is playful like that too - I only pulled out a few seconds of play from the hours of video. The moment he’s out of that kennel, he looks for toys to play with.
Let's fill the comment section with plenty of comments. That will make the algorithm recommend the video further, bumping up Bradley's chance of getting a forever home. Let's help him!
He does. When I get back, I’m going to look into what can be done about him. There has been a lot of out of state interest which presents some issues. Maybe there’s some magic we can make happen. Ikm not giving up on him.
I will help in any way I can. In memory of my Bradley, a shelter rescue who brought us many years of joy. I really want to see him in an actual home versus say a sanctuary or facility based rescue. Are there any medical issues? He appears healthy happy and well cared for.
@@etcetc6427 - The Florida Keys SPCA will not let him go to a rescue, sanctuary, or anything like that. He'll go to a real home of a local foster, that's it. There are no medical issues he has - I noticed he was on normal adult food and had no restrictions for treats (and he LOVES treats!). He has some normal fatty tumor bumps. My 11 year old lab has bigger ones and more of them. I didn't think there was anything abnormal about him in the slightest way. In fact, I had to look at his chart a few times and ask one of the staff if he was really 15.
My dog will be 16 in one week. I can’t fathom bringing my baby to a shelter. I know if for any reason my husband and I couldn’t care for her my kids would take her. She would never be abandoned. 😢😢
I put in the outtakes so it would leave you smiling! But thank you for watching - just watching promotes the video so RUclips shows it to others. It’s why this is a community effort. We’ll find a home for Bradley.
I so hope Bradley finds an amazing home. A little over 9 years ago, someone dumped a litter of puppies off on the side of the road, they were about 3 weeks old, according to the vet. We adopted one of those puppies, and throughout her life, have tried to give her the best life we could. She is half lab, half pit, and while she is a great family dog, she does have issues with other dogs. Anyway, we have made the commitment to give her the best home we can until it's her time. We are now seniors ourselves, and have decided that when Blue goes, that's it. We feel we have done what we can do, and cannot commit to another dog as we want to travel. Perhaps when we get back from our travels, adopting a senior dog like Bradley would be a good choice.
Thank you for being the best kind of dog “parents” - your comment says a lot about you. One thing to consider when you no longer have a dog - volunteer at a shelter. It’s a way to have plenty of dog contact while giving support to dogs in need. I started doing the videos after just sitting and playing guitar to different dogs. It has a calming effect on many. Sitting next to them and just talking to them takes the stress away. They beg for human contact but the staff is often overwhelmed with taking care of the living needs of each dog. Volunteers can help, take care of each dog’s emotional needs. What I found is that you get much more out of it than the effort you put in. But at times, it’s hard to leave the shelter and the cages.
All the love and protection in the world and a very long always very beautiful life always full of love, safety, best health and best care, joy and happiness for you beautiful, lovely, sweet little Bradley, you pure, precious soul.
I can guarantee you, older dogs ARE MUCH EASIER, gentler and knows command already. MOST OF ALL, they will show you love, as though you knew them from puppy. All of my older dogs left with absolutely spoiled wings, and they spoiled me too. GUARANTEE! Walk with your dogs until their very very last step, at their last step, embrace them until their last breath. Give them the comfort and security they need until their wings spread to fly with your piece of heart.
@@TakingPaws_media Yes, they helped me a lot mending my broken missing bit of my heart that my previous spoiled senior dog snatched the piece with him when he grew his wings. One day, we will all meet again, I know where my bits of hearts are. Until then, more spoiled senior dogs on its way until my last step.
We don’t know why Bradley was left at the shelter. I have a lovely dog, Pepper. He was dumped at one year old as he had a ‘cherry eyelid’ that needed surgery. They didn’t go in either, but let him wander over the weekend. Pepper has not been microchipped and probably not had money spent on him. He didn’t know what a collar was when I took him for his first walk. I’m in palliative care now. My goal is to see Pepper out. I’ve had him 11 years and it worries me that he may outlive me. People go into Aged Care facilities. I’m very worried and my son has a deerhound and a greyhound ~ Pepper is not good with bigger dogs. It’s easy to judge someone who gives up a dog. It is my biggest worry but I’m not sure I can hold on long enough for him. Please don’t judge - I’ve held on for years without eating, in a lot of pain, and I hope if I go before him my neighbour will find him a good home - she works voluntarily in an animal sanctuary. I’ve had pneumonia this year and and another emergency and I’m terribly upset I may die before him.
Exactly. I’m the one who said you can’t judge in the video. You never know the situation. I’m sorry you’re in the position you’re in. I know it’s hard. In hopes of giving you some options you might not have thought of, check out this article - maybe it could help? www.agingcare.com/Articles/parents-can-no-longer-care-for-pets-151682.htm
What kind of soulless monster abandons an elderly dog. I’d have no problem not allowing them to never have a dog again. My dogs geriatric years have been the deepest friendships I could ask for. I have a problematic foster right now who takes all I have but that’s a lovely lovely boy 🐾 To have a great dog for a couple years is a gift , he will know what the person who adopts him has done ☮️🐾☮️
There is nothing that touches your heart like a senior dog who now knows he needs a little more help from you. Hopefully we'll find some new owner to experience that.
What Bradley's owners did to him is criminal he didn't not deserve that. Those owners don't deserve the love and loyalty that comes with owning a dog. He is such a handsome boy, and I pray he finds his loving forever home for his golden years.
@@KimWhitney-d3o - You’re right, he didn’t deserve it at all. And it’s the worst case of abuse like that to a dog I filmed. But see Jenny’s video (the week before Bradley) and Rosie (4 weeks ago). They have the advantage of being younger and will probably get adopted quicker. But people coming into the shelter looking for a dog just walk past the old ones and it breaks my heart because Bradley is such an active and loving guy.
I love cats and dogs.I always pray that someday I could provide a great home for them to play and enjoy life.If only I could have Bradley ,I would give all the love and care that he deserves Amen.
Under different circumstances, I would gladly take Bradley in and give him a loving home. Unfortunately I am in a different country, and already taking care of many rescue cats and dogs. Please give Bradley a chance to be part of a beautiful family. He deserves it and more.
Praying for this precious boy, that he can find forever arms to hold him with love until he goes to the bridge. I’m on the opposite side of the country or I’d take him.😭😭😭
@@etcetc6427 - thank you! The SPCA has made their own postings in Facebook too. Bradley has a lot of people on his side. More options will be possible in October. He’s also in very good shape physically. I’ve done videos on other older dogs earlier in the year like Diamond who was adopted and is happy in her new home - she was 8. Kane too, similar story at 10 years old. He now hangs around bars in Key West a couple of times a week and is loving it! Bradley is smaller and more desirable in the Keys because of his size. It just takes getting his story in front of that one person.

Please consider adopting Bradley
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bradley still needs a home
I agree. He appears so well cared for, happy and YOUNG.
So, realistically, and I agree for several reasons, he needs to be locally placed, correct?
Looks like a good pup. Hope he gets a good home for his last years.
My dog will be 16 in one week. I can’t fathom bringing my baby to a shelter. I know if for any reason my husband and I couldn’t care for her my kids would take her. She would never be abandoned. 😢😢
god bless all dogs
That made me cry so hard. Thank you for showing this beautiful dog and drawing attention to him.
I put in the outtakes so it would leave you smiling! But thank you for watching - just watching promotes the video so RUclips shows it to others. It’s why this is a community effort. We’ll find a home for Bradley.
Praying he gets adopted
Love you Bradley,,🇦🇺🦘
I can guarantee you, older dogs ARE MUCH EASIER, gentler and knows command already. MOST OF ALL, they will show you love, as though you knew them from puppy. All of my older dogs left with absolutely spoiled wings, and they spoiled me too. GUARANTEE! Walk with your dogs until their very very last step, at their last step, embrace them until their last breath. Give them the comfort and security they need until their wings spread to fly with your piece of heart.
You're right - they are easier. And they create deeper bonds because they need your help until you realize that you needed their help all along...
@nc8645 💕💕💕💕 wonderful words as you said, all about is true ❣️👍💐
Awwwww I hope and pray Bradley finds his forever loving home ASAP .Good luck baby, you deserve it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What kind of soulless monster abandons an elderly dog. I’d have no problem not allowing them to never have a dog again. My dogs geriatric years have been the deepest friendships I could ask for. I have a problematic foster right now who takes all I have but that’s a lovely lovely boy 🐾 To have a great dog for a couple years is a gift , he will know what the person who adopts him has done ☮️🐾☮️
There is nothing that touches your heart like a senior dog who now knows he needs a little more help from you. Hopefully we'll find some new owner to experience that.
Please some one safe him .. he deserves to feel love and have his own place .. im in Australia I would lobe to take him on
I'm sending you love Bradley ❤ good luck and quick healing 😊
Please post when he gets a forever home ❤
I will. As I was finishing Momo’s video, I found out that Phil was adopted. The post about him is already up.
Please give Bradley a chance if in Florida

I agree. Hope all who see his video will share. Cast a wide net!
Pray for Bradley
Good luck Bradley. How sad your owners gave you up. Someone please go get him
Bradley's spirit is beautiful!!
He is incredibly playful and the definition of “companion.”
Older dogs are the best and give more love than you can ever give back

We'll find someone for him. His qualities won't get overlooked.
I wish I could save them all. God bless all the people that devote their lives and love to these innocent guys.
Please get him a GOOD LOVING HOME ❤❤❤❤PLEASE 😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Not sure what prompted them to make this choice but I'm glad Bradley is somewhere safe and not out on the streets and in danger
That’s why we stay away from judging the owners. We don’t know what happened. But we do know that Bradley is safe and kept healthy at the shelter.
Agreed especially in this economy. We have got to get the word out and educate people
PLEASE FOSTER, RESCUE OR ADOPT BRADLEY - HE NEEDS OUR HELP NOW SO IF YOU CAN DO SOMETHING TO HELP HIM OUT OF THE SHELTER PLEASE DO IT IMMEDIATELY??
Hugs and kisses to 😊you Bradley. I pray you find your forever loving home ❤❤
I have already one adopted dog, I cannot afford for second one. Please anyone out there who want to adopt dog, please adopt Bradley. Thank you and God Bless ❤😊.
