    I enjoyed the podcast information. I received the Volair PB Effect Edition paddles (14mm and 16mm) today. The paddles look great. Hopefully, UPA-A and USPA needs to figure the deflection testing out and make it transparent or both regulatory agencies will have the same controversies as before. When I looked at the picture of the line referee, it looks like she was not on the baseline to even make the call if she was looking. Thank you, Braydon and Kyle.

    Braydon mix up some of that Pickd. ALW 12.7 with a Hesacore is a nice setup. Poppier and harder hitting paddle than the Paddleteks IMO is Tellezs’ paddle the Lotto Ultimate Pro 14mm.

      I can see the ALW 12.7 with a hesacore being a lot better. And that's the first I've really heard anything about Tellez's paddle. My interest is piqued now cuz if that's true then it would be up there in power where only a few others are and it would be nice to have another option there.

    Keep an eye out for the neonic flare and flare prime. Its going to be a standard face paddle with a 5.75 inch handle with some interesting options. The normal flare is a good control to all court paddle with more pop than the mach 2 16mm. The flare prime is where it gets interesting being 14mm having the same fiberglass then carbon fiber layer up technology in the alw and tkoc paddles. It should play pretty similarly to an between of the 14.3mm and 12.7mm alw but with a long handle and an extra low swing weight of 104 with a twist weight of 6.9 out of the box. I think you would love them both when they release

I always watch it all the way to the end. I recently purchased your tungsten tape from Amazon and I like is very much. One of my favorite videos was the one where you talked/opened your heart about your younger brother, the foundation and cancer (my Dad died from cancer).
    I currently play with a Double Black Diamond and love it as it feels like an extension of my hand. I only wish the spin lasted longer. I recently played with a Volair Mach 2 Forza and loved it. • @pickleballeffect
      @pickleballeffect  2 месяца назад +1

      I like widebodies for dubs. In singles the extra length of an elongated paddle makes a bigger difference to me when you have to cover so much court and you get out stretched on volleys a lot. I've added weight to nearly every widebody I've used. My preferred swingweight is between 113-117 so if a paddle is less than 113, which a lot of widebodies are, then I weight it up some.

      @@pickleballeffect I understand that not all of the many standard/wide body shaped paddles could make your list, but the Gruvn Muvn-16S is a well known, popular wide body paddle. It's not just another standard/widebody shaped paddle. All the reveiwers I've seen that reveiwed this when it came out considered it one of the best. That's why I think it should have made your list. I personally have owned 11 didn't paddles so far and this is by far the best paddle I have ever used. Its the reason I went away from hybrid shaped paddles to standard/widebodys only and I'lll never look back. :) I also own the Fatboy (It was easy to become an ambassador to Bread and Butter - Prettty much anyone can). I love that paddle as well although much harder to control due to its' massive poppiness, but man what a sweet spot, and so fast in the hands and wicked punch volleys.

    Hello, I wanted to recommend the OM Aero paddle for anyone looking for a widebody paddle. I've been playing pickleball for a year and a half now and have gone through over ten paddles before settling on this one for doubles. It’s great paddle for kitchen battles and hard flick drives. However, it's not the best paddle for singles, so I'm planning to give the HUDEF Gen 2 a try. As an ex-open racquetball player, I tend to favor power. Keep up the great work, guys!
