Buying second-hand makes a lot of sense now especially with companies offering 6 month warranties and such. I'm on the s5ii so it's a leica collab for the sensor color science. Love the leica look and colors. Very clean and understated.
I totally agree. We have come to a point where it's difficult for camera brands to push it even better. Yes the colors its probably the key factor of choosing a Leica.

I just bought a second hand SL, Can't wait to have it in my hands. I think the main reason I decided on the SL is I've jumped around from camera brand to camera brand enough that I have realized that I need to be using a camera/lens that inspire me or I'm not that into it. I've been shooting Sony for the last year and while their cameras are amazing they are only the correct tool for me for paid jobs. For my own hobby and interest I need to be shooting something else. I tired fuji but it was just too clunky and complicated.
Great choice! I get what you are saying. Sony cameras are probably great if you line up all the specs, but once you become a bit deeper in the photography world you are looking for more and something else than just specs.
Följer med spänning! Köpte precis en på Tradera. Känns lite bakvänt att köpa en spegellös kamera som lanserades 2015. Men hoppas att den ger något som Lumix fullformatare inte ger mig. Känsla i filerna och hanteringen.
great review and feedback- Love the SL, much more than the SL2 for some reason... so much so I'm selling the SL2 to go back to SL. Question for you: Why not make a video rig for the SL? Would make your workflow crazy simple!
@@NSEW_Mag interesting! What’s the biggest difference between SL & SL2? I shoot all my work on red cameras, so for video the Leica SL doesn’t really do the job for me.
@@Michael_Odelberthoff course, I ve got the SL bought last january and Rokkor lenses are superb and cheap. My favourite is 58 1.4 super sharp and with personality. It is just like to have M Leica mode, so you have a modern camera as easy to change your lens.
Grymt! Överväger att investera i en SL2, funderar dock på om man ska köra på sigma-optik till en början och sedan sakta övergå till leica-optik. Hur upplever du färgerna med sigma till din leica? Får du ”leica looken” med sigma-objektiven, alltså färgerna/kontrasterna?
Jag gillar Sigma optiken. och jag tycker man får Leica looken. Hade såklart gärna hellre valt Leica optiken, men tycker nog inte riktigt att priset gör det värt för där jag är idag.
@@Michael_Odelberth Id love to see a video how you get most out videomaking of the SL. Im newbeginner and learning a bit in DaVinci Reoslve. Im a bit struggling with Leica Log. I might buy an Ninja Atomos. I wish it could support mobile phone as recorder like Sony does.

Du har nog gjort ett fint köp. Har inge koll på Lumix, men sätter du känsla före specs så är du nog inne på rätt spår med Leica 😉

Take a chance for the Rokkor lenses, enjoy the real vintage expierence.

i just bought SL begagnad from Rajala Photo. It will be interesting to test out it with M-lenses :p

Did you manage with the Autofocus for the moving subjects?
So far I’ve had no problem with the autofocus. But I also haven’t shot any fast motorsport yet. To be continued 😄
