In this episode, we left the Island of Turtles (Canouan) and we are on our way to one of the best islands to visit, Mayreau. That's right we are on our way to another beautiful Island. Mayreau Island is one of the best islands that you can visit during covid. We were excited to be visiting. The island is tiny and only 300 people live there. While in Mayreau we took a day tour to the Tobago Cays. It was so much fun! We then explored the Island. We strolled through the town, visited a church and Salt Whistle Bay. Salt Whistle Bay is one of our top three beaches we have visited! We had the best time in Mayreau and will definitely visit again. We are having a blast exploring the Grenadines.

► WHO WE ARE?
We are Gladys & Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on RUclips and Social Media.

I went on a catamaran cruise to Mayreau about four times, the cruise always took us to a remote beach so I thought it was uninhabited until the hurricane Beryl. Sorry to say, this island and church 100% destroyed.
What do you mean if the government paid? You mean for the islands? If its that you mean...stop asking silly questions.

You guys make fun to watch videos thank you. I loved the beach it is so pristine and beautiful. However, this is just me personal choice. Give me Mustique so clean and beautiful and old English yet with luxury. All about that being pampered yet not junk food places, no tourist traps, no tourist for that matter only if you are lodging in a mansion/villa for a week or more. Simply the best.

Hi Chad, we visit during the months of July, August, and September. It's raining season, but it really doesn't rain much and at times it is weeks when it rains. This time of the year is great for delicious fruits and a lot of sunshine.

I have visited most of the Caribbean Islands, have friends on St Vincent and although they are often quite beautiful, there is invariable nothing on them and little to do. Ok if your into snorkelling, sailing or sunning on a beach for ten days or so but for any length of time empty and boring. Dennises Hideaway is awesome though.
I guess it really depends on what you enjoy. The first time we visited, we spent four months and keep going back each year. We love the raw natural beauty of the island. In our opinion one can feel bored in any place. We lived in New York City and found ourselves bored at times, and there is so much to do there. In SVG, We love hanging out with our friends and being in the outdoors I guess that’s why we enjoy it so much. It sounds like you need to hang out with us when you are an SVG❣️😉.
