This also great for places like NYC, where the van is considered a commercial vehicle. With this they can have the title changed to a passenger vehicle.
While we don't have a seating option for four, we do anticipate coming out with it in the future. In the meantime, we do have a solution to sleep 4 with our bunk bed system. You can check it out here - wayfarervans.com/product/lower-bunk-platform/
Love this! More options = more possibilities for adventure! That lower bed platform configuration would make a great place for a canine companion without losing much storage (does that mean Ian was in the doghouse?).
Thanks, Annie! There are a few variables for different vans. We recommend adding 2″ or 4″ spacers for more room as well. In ProMaster vans: 14.5″ from platform to support beam, 16″ from platform to upper bed. In Transit vans: 15.5″ from platform to support beam, 17″ from platform to upper bed.
Would it be possible to request adding that seat base that's permanently attached to the floor under the sink module so an option can be added for a fourth seat? This way if traveling and not needing the sink module, the sink module can be removed and a fourth seat can be added. And later on the fourth seat can be taken out and the sink module put back on.
Hey Chris - Colorado makes a great place to start your roadtrip back home. Yes, we did have a shop in Reno, but unfortunately we had to close it down to to continued supply chain issues.
So many rear seat install is thoughtless. Anyone sit there will have a long trip and most of rear seat look uncomfortable, this seat is just too high. Think about many of comfortable SUV rear seats which is much closer to the floor.
Chew, you'd be surprised. It is comfier than it looks. They are basically bus seats and people take many long ride on buses daily including myself (in the past) with comfort. The height will be subjective of course but no complaints yet!
Excellent.

Family of 4 here and would love a double seat option and 4 places to sleep!

Yes, we're all about more possibilities for adventure for humans and doggos alike! Haha, hopefully we all stay out of the doghouse!

Great options!!! Way to go!
All the best to you guys !
I'm a new subscriber, I like your videos 👍
Love the bunk bed option! Brilliant option. How much room between the lower bed surface and the bottom of the regular bed?

Double bunk looks great. Can you add two rear seats?
Genius!
Are you able to add a second seat for two kids to ride along? Nice looking builds!
Evan, currently we only have the one rear seat option but that is coming down the pipeline soon
@@WayfarerVans Can't wait for the rear seats option with the builds.
I’m in Reno looking to get a Ford transit van, but the Reno team only does Dodge…

What is weight capacity of lower bed platform ? Is it just for children or could an adult sleep on it ?
It's good for anyone! The platform is designed to support up to 500 pounds.
Can it have a swivel base?
Good question! As of right now we do not offer the rear seat with a swivel platform.
Litter box ?
