Thank you, thank you for this tutorial! I never knew I could do TTF's! Hate to say I just paid a lot of money to buy some fonts. Can you explain to me how to transfer all those ittybitty files I just bought to my BES Software to use. I hit merge and open the file and transfer one letter but how do I move all the rest of the sizes...or do I need to. HELP PLEASE!
Grace Park Glad I could help Grace! Basically purchased fonts are just a whole bunch of embroidery designs, so I would just merge them when you need them. The software will however allow you to merge several designs at once, so you simply hold Ctrl key while selecting each letter of a word, then open and then select all and vertical center align under the "Arrange" tab. You will be able to individually edit each letter as well as create the spacing that you like. Once you are happy with each letter that you merged and edited, select all align bottom to get a nice level word. You may have to individually drop letters with tails like a "y". Hope this answered your question.
I am not seeing the TTF font when I place a check mark in the box, and highlight the text. What do I need to do to get the fonts on my computer to show in the font selection?
