    I worked in school kitchens for a few years after I retired from my secretarial career. works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ruclips.net/user/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again.This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.

    70 minutes?? Or 7? I’ve never cook eggs that long in my life! So strange but I’m gonna try it. Thank you so so so much for the instapot recipes! I use mine almost every day, it’s a great tool for healthy eating.

    • @jinnyyang9628
      @jinnyyang9628 2 года назад

      Yes. I was wondering if Aaron meant 7 minutes.... I cook mine for 5 and natural release for 5. Hopefully Aaron can reply. 🙂❤️

    • @sophievanderbilt1325
      @sophievanderbilt1325 2 года назад +5

      @@jinnyyang9628 I pretty sure he really meant 70min, but not totally sure. The eggs have a brown flesh meaning they’re kinda toasted inside? And the yolks look really really cooked, too. They have the green ring around the edge that you get when eggs are over cooked. But still…70 min seems way too long haha.
      Edit: I was just searching Korean Sauna Egg recipes and yeah, it’s definitely 70min! Some of them recommended 3-4 hours of cooking in the instant pot. It toasts them inside somehow and makes them creamier.

    • @woodstock8d
      @woodstock8d 2 года назад

      I was shocked too when I saw it states 70 mins! Such a waste of electricity just for that few eggs...

    • @ChadBray3
      @ChadBray3 2 года назад +1

      I'm glad you all clarified this. I usually cook my eggs the same way except just 1 cup of water at the bottom and cook for only 1 3/4 minutes with a quick release followed by an ice water bath. They are not soft boiled and not hard boiled... right in-between. 70 seemed outrageous. I'm going to try it now, though.

    • @sophievanderbilt1325
      @sophievanderbilt1325 2 года назад +3

      @@ChadBray3 I actually tried the 3 and a half HOUR method in my instant pot and omg they are seriously delicious! The whites turn a light brown color and the yolks are super creamy. I was doubting it so much but now it’s my favorite way to make hard boiled eggs.
      I put a steaming rack on the bottom of my instant pot and then fit in as many eggs as I can in one layer, usually like 13 or 14. Then cover them with water and pressure cook for 3 1/2 hours. I let the pressure release naturally and then cool them in ice water. They peel so easily and keep well in the fridge. My husband and I eat them as snacks over a week.

    Instant pot (I have something similar but it is a German brand) is great to cook any kind of dried beans, peas, lentils in a short time. I use it for meat stews, soups, curries or just a good broth. The best thing ever is to cook Beef rendang which usually would take 4 hours in just 45 min or pulled pork. And I can use it as rice cooker too, or bake a bread or just steam some vegetables with or without fish on top, or do some sous vide cooking as for Onsen eggs. The Char Sui looks delicious to, have to make ramen again sometimes soon. It is such a waste not to make good use of an Instant pot.

    I have a video idea, but I don’t know if it’s good or not. How about showing some ways of using the seasoning packet from ramyun for other recipes? I buy the shin ramyun type and I often use the noodles by themselves for other recipes, and I end up with lots of seasoning packets leftover in the cupboard. What can I do with those? :)

      @@loriki8766 You won't be sorry. It is such a time saver & it makes such juicy, tender meats.
