Met Kurt at a DRI concert in Milwaukee. It was 2017 and I never heard them before. My dad played it in the van on the way there and I was frickin hooked the moment I heard this song. We get to the former speakeasy they were playing in. Place was so laid back. Kurt and most of the band were walking around and my dad's friend pointed them out. Kurt band mates were dispersing, but I was able to get him to sign my hat. First ever signature I got. The hat hangs in my room, awaiting the next DRI show.
Damn! Crowd, stage presence blah blahblah... nobody bothers to note how FAST they are playing this?! LOL It's got to be about 20 bpm faster than the original, and they're 20 years older! Not bad.
I cant stand there bassist. Only cool thing about him or hes ever done was that History of thrash metal picture book that came out a couple years ago. I always felt like this band could have been huge and on the same level as slayer and metallica. But they chose to not "sell out" by not staying on a major label because they were on a major label in the early 90s and after they left they fell off. Theyre kinda like that band Anvil... broke as hell still playing in tiny shitty clubs which clubs are cool but as a band I thought the thing is to progress and get bigger and better not continuously put out the same material and play the same songs from like almost 30 years ago.
Sorry to disappoint you with my performance !! Im glad you like the book !! My question to you is what the fuck have you done lately to contribute to a musical scene or genre of music other than whine here on youtube !!
Damn ... I am sorry to say this man.. it is sad to see one of my fav bands ever to look so uninspiring. I can understand that age takes a toll and they probably do not feel like headbanging anymore like they used to back in the days but damn man... it is just weird I can't explain it. They still kick ass and sound better than a lot of bands out there but damn the band does not really inspire much with their stage presence.
+ChuckSchuldinerisGod My band "The Wastedist" played with them in Jacksonville, FL last week and they destroyed the place. Tons of energy and sounded awesome. 30 plus years of touring and playing this kind of music will kick the shit out of you. But anyways they still rule! Cheers!
Ramón Oliveira Crossover, Thrash, hardcore Punk..... whatever the fuck people call it this is D.R.I (Thrash Hard) it is metal regardless of the stupid genres people name it.... This band was the shiiiiiit period... brings me back old memories... one of the first cassettes I ever owned.
@@googelmoogel1 the single is Rob Rampy who can absolutely kill it with one. He wasnt able to play for awhile and I think the other drummer has double bass. He's back though just saw them live.
Kings of Crossover!!! \m/
potenente canción... pésimo publico...
Looks dead out there c’mon what is this Starbucks or a Thrash Show? 😂
CROWD SUCKED!!!
What bass is he playing??
Holy fuck steve carell on guitar goddamn fuck it it jams
The crowd looks dead. Back in the 80's we would be slam dancing and having a blast of a time. Saw them at Club Iguanas in TJ....such an awesome time.
D.R.I. rules. Harold rages!!! I'd love to see this whole gig
He quedado sorprendido. Esta canción me ha gustado.

Yes, it‘s just you😂
thing is, his voice doesn't get tired or shit ever, so yeah, it's pretty easy to say this
Think you’re right. He sounds like he’s from Cali, but actually from Texas haha

Heavy metal + Hardcore = Metalcore??

Did they have 2 bass drums earlyyears or all the time 1 solo bass drum?
