Alfa Romeo 916 GTV 2.0 Twin Spark Phase 1 Engine noise. Balance Shaft Belt Started to Tear into bits

- Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 TS Phase 1 engine knock.
Fitted a Gates Timing Belt kit with Water Pump and balance shaft Belt with tensioner. Done less than 1500 Miles and the Belt Started to tear into bits. Belt tension was perfect at the time of installation. The noise was sounds like a bottom end failure but was the Belt itself that give up.
