Congrats on the build. Great job covering the progress via video.
I appreciate it, was a ton of fun to build, I know it's more than what most people will build, but figured it might help someone with their ideas.
Great M1102 build! Very inspirational!
@@TheNotSoOrdinaryCarGuy thank you, it has been a lot of fun building and seeing the idea come to life.
This same ish build from a company that makes the 1101/1102 would be in the 30k ish range if not a little bit more. You have done a fine job with this build and for the price you did it for, great.
@rundmm thanks, it definitely took a lot of hours which were not calculated and I understood a lot more why some of the small trailers do cost that much after building this one.
Great video, I saw your rig and set up at Uwharrie a couple of weeks ago. Looks great!
Thanks, that was our 1st trip on it, we had a lot of fun on that trip. If you ever are there and see us, feel free to stop by and say hi and check it out if you want.
@@ajphillipsjeeps Will do! It was our groups favorite setup that weekend but we didn’t want to bother you haha. Got me thinking about building my own and then I stumbled on your channel.
@hansbierer glad everyone liked it, we should be back up there May 17th -19th if you are in the area. Let me know if have questions if you start building one. I tried to cover as much as possible but there is always little things that get left out on accident.
Great build. Loved watching all the progress through the video series. Quick question... I am in NC as well and just bought a M1102 from a guy but he never had it titled or tagged. What all did you need to title a government trailer like this?
@jmtaylor1992 you have to get a home built trailer title. You go to DMV and ask for the paperwork. It's about $20 and they give you a VIN # that you have to stamp on the frame and axle.
@@ajphillipsjeeps did it require any other documentation? Like a bill of sale or inspections? Trying to make sure I’ve got everything before making that unpleasant trip 😂
@jmtaylor1992 nope, a home built gets inspected by a NC trooper that you stamped the vin on the Axle and the tounge you take it back up and Tittle it. I would suggest a permanent tag also. Costs about 3 years but good foe the life of you owning it.
