Today I test my knowledge of the viola with 4 random quizzes I found on funtrivia.com and I ended up getting more wrong than I thought. Can you score higher than me?

On a side note, I finally bought a lighting stand after a year and a half of RUclips, but I feel like my teeth look yellow with the warm setting on lol.

Did you mention that you're putting together a viola quartet? I was working as I listened to your video, so I'm not sure if I heard that or not lol. Anyway, if you do, I'd love to see it featured on your channel! My favorite quartet is the Prague Cello Quartet ... I'm continually amazed by what they can produce with 4 of the same instrument. So, yeah ... 4 violas would be amazing! 😍

Edit: I'm asking all of these questions because I'm an violist and violinist, that's played violin for over 2 years and viola for a year. And I'm not as good as you on thd viola. 👋🙂
Lol I said 8 years at the beginning but I didn’t annunciate very well! I played violin for 9 years before that too
This was fun. I'm not a violist (though it was my first instrument) and I did really well. I wasn't keeping score though, so James probably did better. But I didn't miss the sax question (it's always treble clef no matter which type of sax you play).
Can you do a video explaining how to do wrist vibrato? I've been using arm vibrato and now I am unsuccessfully trying to learn wrist to relieve tension in my arm.

Seems Velvet Underground's viola is a drone (see Heroin and Venus in Furs). Too bad there don't seem to be viola solos in any of their songs.

A lot of my friends at school listen to genres other than classical. It’s common for them to have separate playlists of classical and pop music to listen to
