Very much true as was reinforced a few days ago when some one asked if I had a Violin and I said it was a violist and he got very excited and said that they played viola and started talking about how us violas need to start together and how its amazing and it was right after I decided to look up viola vids and I found out that they are mostly just people mocking it and he definitely brightened my day
Same thing happened to me! I grew up playing viola and never faced any animosity. Then I started searching the internet for viola discussion a few weeks ago and I was shocked at "viola jokes"!
AND IS EVERY ORCHESTRA LIKE THAT , MORGAN IS ALL OF OUR MOM (she adopted all of us) AND SHE " MARRIED" OUR "DAD" KAYLIE AND WE ARE ALL JUST ONE FAMILY BASICALLY
I play the violin and absolutely freaked out when I heard you playing (the audio) from dvoraks American. The viola part is so amazing I love it! Also, new sub here 😂
I love how Stamitz's Viola and Dvorak's American have become the "Violist National Anthem", like what TwoSet have mad Pag Cap 24 to Violinists. Anyways, long live Viola
Why is this so accurate lmao! Anyways I'm glad to have found someone that is appreciating Violas. Many people underestimate what Violas can really do, so seeing someone so invested in a Viola is a dream come true! Love your vids btw! Amazing work! Excited to see what is to come in the future :))
This is so true loll In my orchestra, the violists are always laughing together and joking about being the most terrible instrument. We're the closest group. The violinists are always competing, shaming the violas, and mad at each other.
I play violin and I gotta say, I absolutely adore the sound of the violas, is like the depressed/goth underappreciated sweet cpusin of thr violin, that people are way to fearsome to approach because of the fame it has, and when it's often talked about people think is a "less better version" of the violin. Like, bro, I love violin but c'mon, viola also has an amazing and unique sound. The way you played the pirates of Caribbean and Sally's song per example express my feelings pretty well.
I was literally on a field trip with other kids that go to different schools and the girl that sat next to me played viola like me and harp we were just talking and we bonded over the viola
I tried to learn viola but ultimately had to face that I absolutely suck at it, so I gave up and let other people be great. Still, I kept a fondness for the instrument and a mad respect for violists. 😊 I'm always so happy when I see something related to this instrument and yeah, I love people who play. You guys are underrated af. 🤗
violinist usually work together well actually. I feel like they practice harder than cellists. Violin is the smallest, making it more portable, so you can whip it out any time 😈
It is funny how different instruments react to others of their kind. Harpists get all excited when we meet other harpists, because there's not a lot of us and we spend a lot of time playing alone. And recorder players are happy and friendly because we need other recorder players to play a lot of the repertoire. And flutes seem to be a bit catty - possibly because there's usually too many of us for the interesting parts available. Or because that was highschool band, and the flute section seemed to attract more than its share of somewhat ditzy types.
I love violists. I think they're the sweetest in the orchestra. And violinists who play the viola are also nice and sweet. Violinists who never played the viola nor have playrd second violin tend to be divas and arrogant.
So I’m a first violin player in my school, (7th grade, been playing since 3rd) And I get attacked because my teacher said I was the only violin player out of all 15 of us who actually advanced. Why is this you may ask? They complain so much about playing G-Minor scale, to the point they keep messing up in our annual concerts 💀
Lol, I'm a violinist but I think string instruments are the best in general compared to woodwind. No chance of passing out for us because of our instrument
Facts unless they are non classical Violinists. Violinist in the non classical world are like.... "let's groove" (a party begins and EPIC CREATIVITY is born) 😎 For the Greater Groove podcast is a great example. 👍🏾
Honestly so accurate. I'm always glad to see another viola comrade
Indeed :’)
Me too 😂😂
Me too🎻
Hello comrades
Agreed
When 3/4 of the violinists in my orchestra are against violas and want them to burn 😭
So accurate! That is what the violists in my class do. We stand in a circle and just bob out heads as a “good to see you” gesture 😂
We love you violists ♡
Very much true as was reinforced a few days ago when some one asked if I had a Violin and I said it was a violist and he got very excited and said that they played viola and started talking about how us violas need to start together and how its amazing and it was right after I decided to look up viola vids and I found out that they are mostly just people mocking it and he definitely brightened my day
Same thing happened to me! I grew up playing viola and never faced any animosity. Then I started searching the internet for viola discussion a few weeks ago and I was shocked at "viola jokes"!
There are only two violas in my orchestra, me and another girl. she's my pretend wife lol I get along with every viola
Bruh there 35 kids in my orchestra and only 3 violist😭
And 6 cellos and 2 bass and the rest is violins
AND IS EVERY ORCHESTRA LIKE THAT , MORGAN IS ALL OF OUR MOM (she adopted all of us) AND SHE " MARRIED" OUR "DAD" KAYLIE AND WE ARE ALL JUST ONE FAMILY BASICALLY
We have 48 kids in our orchestra and only four are violists
I am a viola. Myself and my sister are the only ones with 11 cellos, 2 bass, and 9 violinists
Yes! There are so few violas in amateur orchestras, we're happy to see others 😂 meanwhile the first violins are fighting to get a spot
this so so true tho. this literally me when i see someone else who plays viola. 😂
c string stands for coolest instrument in the world
And that's why only Violas and Cellos have it
as a violist, can confirm 100%
ITS SO TRUE!!!!! And then I have that one friend who always thinks I play violin but whatever-
As a violinist I don’t confirm this we don’t get jealous of others
Haha, cute… and yes that’s a great Viola Moment in Music
I started off as a violist then became a violinist with a violist's spirit 😂
I play the violin and absolutely freaked out when I heard you playing (the audio) from dvoraks American. The viola part is so amazing I love it! Also, new sub here 😂
Accurate, with violists you can just relate, talk about the struggles of the viola etc etc
My beloved Dvořák! The American is my favorite piece.
As a violin, this is very accurate💀💀
you’re a violin????
@@Naima_2010 yes I am made of wood
@@acertifiedhuman448*le gasp*
This is so true!! All violinists greet each other with a frown. But the violists are great friends!
(Im a violist.)
I love how Stamitz's Viola and Dvorak's American have become the "Violist National Anthem", like what TwoSet have mad Pag Cap 24 to Violinists.
Anyways, long live Viola
stazmitz viola con opening sounds majestic
My friend and I typically admire each other over competing with each other.
No thoughts, just Dvorak🥰
viola is da best instrument ever am I wrong?
Yes.
no. you are right
Yes
nope! facts only!
That is so true, Violinists may say the Violin is the best instrument, but that ain't true
So true, and also violists helps other violists
This is so true loll
In my orchestra, the violists are always laughing together and joking about being the most terrible instrument. We're the closest group. The violinists are always competing, shaming the violas, and mad at each other.

Yes im always proud seeing a violist as one :)
I play viola and I’m glad I found some one who plays it
Why is that so accurate 😭😭
As someone who plays both, i can confirm this is accurate
As a violist, I can confirm the American starts playing whenever we walk in the room.
American as the background is on point
That’s so true. When I was in middle school it was like me and one other violist
One of us one of us one of us
I was literally on a field trip with other kids that go to different schools and the girl that sat next to me played viola like me and harp we were just talking and we bonded over the viola
w viola let’s go viola gang
Yaaaaas! Violists rule! 🧡🧡🧡
I’m a violinist and I’m many friends with violists and love both instruments
So true im a viola and i barly know any others and when we saw each other we started playing together
I'm a paradox because I learned violin from a violist.
Tbh when I see a violinist I’ll be like “how’s your E string”
This is so true oml
Why is this so true
So accurate!!

I would be saying "ah high e dumb"
Same for cello
So true 😭❤
That’s exactly what my 5th grade orchestra does! 😂😂
Same goes for trumpets and french horns respectively
Viola gang 😁
Me playing the fucking cello: 💀
It is funny how different instruments react to others of their kind. Harpists get all excited when we meet other harpists, because there's not a lot of us and we spend a lot of time playing alone. Us viola’s hype each other up
Violins: “C string is trash 😂”
Violas:😒
Cello: ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
That's so good :D
So true
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Im a violinist
In my defense
Im learning to play the viola to advance my technical skill and I think other violinists are kinda arrogant
I’m the only viola in the school orchestra but my teacher has a viola so we practice together sometimes :}
It's sooooo trueeeeee😂😂😂
As a violist😎😝🎻(it's a viola emoji)
literally me and my violist friends love and at the same time hate our violinist classmates
true
NOT THE DVORAK AMERICAN 💀
not for me cuz my violin section at my school absolutely sucks and the violas and cellos carry the whole thing
So true lol
That's very ture
…
I play both. What would that mean 🤣
EXACTLYYY
I’m not even a Violist (I’m a pianost/organist that has dabbled in cello) but this had made my day lol 😂😂😂
HAHAHAHA!!! I love it!
So I’m a first violin player in my school, (7th grade, been playing since 3rd)

Me as violist
The violin in my class don’t do that
Lol, I'm a violinist but I think string instruments are the best in general compared to woodwind. No chance of passing out for us because of our instrument
I want a C string lol
Oo what piece is this!
😂❤
What's the name of the song here
What piece is playing?
Yoooo
Fax
Sisomos
Can somebody just tell me what the viola solo piece is coz I honestly can't remember it after thinking for 10 mins 😂
It’s the opening of Dvorak “American” String Quartet
Ok thanks violaking
c string >>>>
From what I’ve seen violinists can be really catty towards violists, joking or not. I like both instruments
Wind players when they see string players/string players when they see wind players:🙄
Facts unless they are non classical Violinists.

and then they start kissing
I think you will be happy to hear that in my orchestra the violins suck and the violas are 😌👌
Violist gang
👇
Is that Violist literally in safety?? Open D? Hahaha
False!! 🤣
hah! e string trash.
Ha, c string trash
It can also offend cellos too, so be careful
