Fun Fact: that little flavour event with Enver's name carved onto the face of the mountain, is an actual thing, located in central Albania but after the fall of communism they switched it from "ENVER" to "NEVER"
They also made one in Vlore in the coast of Albania. It’s still there even in 2024

Turkey capped so fast because it’s bugged and only gets cores on Thrace after Egypt collapses the Ottomans, so Constantinople is like their only victory point

Gendarmerie, is a word in English. We say Jon - darm . (Jon like shjon, French Jean John.) we use gendarmes in Ireland, and it’s like a global standard for militarised national police that’s kind o f blurring that like between police and occupation force(imagine if a city has a riot,… actually kind of like the national guard I guess)

@@QuartetGhost yes, after his death 1985 his wife practically took control of the country and turned it into a living mausoleum for Enver, school names, street names, city names were changed to Enver and much more
