Excellent instructional video! Great job mate! Took me back to my childhood days digging shingleworm... very good for cleaning your nails!!! God 🙏🏼 Bless and Protect You...
Very nice, however it's going to be extremely tiring to use one's hands with no tools to do what what you'll did,I'm sure it must be Soo rewarding at the end, thanks for the tips,👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
Great video Victor. Where in Bettys are you allowed to dig for worm - I see there is a MPA from Stoney point to Jock se baai. Don't want any trouble. Looking forward to the galjoen season!
Awesome video Victor, geeze drove all the way to Betties this past Saterday and it was storming lol couldn't even get a line wet but it was worth the drive beautiful area will deff give it another try in a few weeks time....
Yeah Friday and Saturday was crazy, this video was recorded on Sunday. Just shows you.. watchout for the NW is Bettys, when it goes over 12knots, i wont recommend comming through
Pragtig Vic. Geniet dit terdee. Le op die bed en kyk hoe hard julle werk. Mooi demonstrasie en goeie video. 7 jaar gewag vir hierdie see geleentheid en nou sukkel ek met n seer heup. Maar dit is noi maar die lewe. See hier is maar rof. Dankie weereens.
@@saltaholic5235 maar dit is duidelik dat julle weet wat om te doen. Hier oppie Suidkus mag of kan die ouens met die wurms hengel nie. Die noordoos vee ons plat.
awesome video. think one of my favourite bait to use in the surf is the sand clam which u would call the white mussel. caught lot of good fish with that bait. how heavy was ur sinker btw? 5oz? great demo on ur tackle gear btw
Thanks a lot. Yeah 5 oz sinker. Rod is rated 2-6ozit mainly just for the water currents.. i want to place and keep my bait exactly at a certain spot. White mussel is a great bait aswell💪
@@saltaholic5235 i also noticed u only did a lop cast since u were fishing in rocky areas. would u still use 30lb for casting hard with 5oz for long distances or go heavier trace?
Yeah 100% 30lb with a FG knot to a .65mm or 70.mm is strong enough to do maximum casts. What we also do sometimes is putting on 1 and a 1/2 rod lengths of 80lb or 100lb Leader braid also with a PR of FG knot and then a meter .70mm mono leader on that..so basically 2 leaders. I normally. Do that in heavy rocky areas, 40 of 50lb going to a 6m 100lb braid leader and that going on to a .70mm. Sometimes i fish 10 to 15 sessions with that one leader i made.
Great video Victor - jy en Arno weet omtrent hoe om 'n klein swembadjie te grawe 😎 Die Venom Anaconda 15ft L is darem maar n lekker stok om verskillende spesies mee te target 👌👌

Wonder Worm is an amazing multi-species bait. I can't think of any fish that leaves it alone, including crayfish!
